Whoa whoa whoa. Lol. If we're gonna play the game of who should make what based on the 2 games then MoWill would be demanding the max if he was in his 20s. Sounds like somebody got a little bit of Kemba hate in his blood. Lol

I'm not basing it on what Mo's done in two games, which is obviously unsustainable. I am basing it on what I think Mo will do as a starter, which is provide very similar production to Kemba's. Mo is averaging 17 points and 7.6 assists in 21 starts this year.

You can't play Moneyball with certain players and then totally ignore it when it comes to your favorite.

MoWill made about 9mil a year in his younger years and it wasn't a bad contract which is about equal to Kemba about to make 12mil in his prime in today's revenue. I don't see the fuss. Nobody paying old man MoWill much the same way I doubt Kemba will be making a lot in his 30s.

Interesting post-All Star break rankings - Mo is 5th in the NBA in scoring (23.4 ppg) and 10th in assists per game (7.0) since the break.

We need to get him back on the bench or we aren't going to be able to afford him next season.

I think we will inevitably have a Mo Will vs Kemba thread if Williams continues at this pace he's at and I think I would start him over Kemba. Kemba would be a very good offensive spark off the bench which is the rile I think suits him better since I dont view him as a pure PG.

The difference with Williams offense and Kemba's is that we have to design plays for Kemba as he still struggles vs most other starting PG's. Also Kemba is a streaky scorer, he gets points in bunches then he cools off, Mo can get his points in the flow off the offense, and his range is better so he doesnt have to work as hard as Kemba to score.

Kemba seems to be the better team defender, he doesnt have the occasional brain farts Mo has, and Kemba may be a better rebounder. Mo seems to give us something Kemba doesnt tho from the point, Mo a actually runs the show as opposed to just advances the bll up the court so someone else can play facilitator as what happens with Kemba.

If Mo continues to play well and we continue to win, Kemba is gonna have to play his tail off to take his job back, he'll come of the bench at first anyway so we'll see how he looks with the second unit either way.

I think a Mo Williams vs Hendo thread would be more appropriate.

Kemba is not coming off the bench. Don't be ridiculous. As soon as he has his legs under him he's starting.

All it took was a few hot shooting nights from a 32 year old backup and now Kemba is a 6th man again lol. Unbelievable...

They were ready to say it with Roberts placeholding Kemba and us being like 4-0 at first but his sad numbers didn't support it.

I can't wait to see Kemba + Mo on the first unit. The floor will open up for Kemba, not to mention MKG and Zeller. Everyone should play better in theory.

The second unit will be pretty badass with Mo + Hendo + Lance + Marvin + Biyombo.

Elminating Roberts and reducing Henderson to the bench will do so much for this team. Could be fun to watch dare I say. I love the trade.

You guys don't realize how much I want a Bismack/Vonleh/MKG/Mo/Kemba lineup

Zeller has been playing too well for that, last couple games at least. But it looks fun.

I like Zeller vs. 2nd units but both him and Vonleh work just fine

lol, why even bother listing Vonleh?

I think something pretty remarkable has to occur for Cliff to suddenly start playing him

Well hopefully we get mathematically eliminated soon.

Messy Maxi Pad colliding heads in practice would do the trick.

I don't typically root for injuries, especially not on my own team, but hey, whatever it takes :dontknow:

It is just, like my opinion man, but I think mathematical elimination is the less destructive route.

we probably wont get mathematically eliminated until the end of the season, the Knicks probably aren't mathematically eliminated yet
