bowie put in some solid years DESPITE his debilitating injury that robbed him of his athleticism at his size. he deserves a lot more respect than being little more than a jay-z punchline to many. i watched him thug it out on those nets teams alongside derrick coleman, kenny anderson, drazen petrovic, terry mills, and chris morris
He missed two whole college seasons with an injury on the same exact leg. No one saw Greg Oden (who had no major injuries coming up) coming but Bowie was a medical redshirt the season before he was drafted to gain a 5th year of eligibility.
