Didn't do a good job then since he scored 23pts and had 8ast. It's obvious that we did tho since we had MKG and womp womp Taylor on him.

Iwish our **** beat writer had the balls to ask Clifford why Marvin played the last 16-17 minutes of the game. Lebron James doesn't even do that for Christ sake

I think Roberts is just the hand he was dealt. I expect Roberts to be DNP-CD was Kemba come back but it's obvious that he has a weird liking for Marv almost like he did with Neal.

Honestly, what could Clifford possibly see in Marvin Williams to warrant playing him like that? He gives up rebounds, his defense is average at best, and he's done very little on offense despite all these minutes he's getting in the 4th. Why do this?

I've heard Clifford say Marvin is a better perimeter defender than Cody so maybe Cliff is protecting the 3pt line at the end of games. That's the only thing I can think of.

If I were Cody I'd refuse to go back in with 10 seconds left or whatever it was.

But what happens is teams attack the paint instead. So Cliff is willing to give up the paint to close out games as long as the 3 pt line is defended and we have a shooter to space.

Didn't watch all game, just got back to the house and watched the end and checked the box score. Lance with 9 minutes?

He definitely has a thing for Marv, he gave him the starting job before training camp started. It was a competition between Gerald and MKG for the starting job (before Gerald got hurt) but not Marv and Zeller.

I don't think Byron Scott knows where the three point line is.

I figured "womp womp" was a positive thing, maybe like some sort of Viking battle cry (never understood why people call him Viking, but whatever). I learn so many new phrases from you and Urban Dictionary.

He's pretty badass. I don't know what his shooting percentages looked like tonight -- I'm guessing they weren't nearly as good as they have been -- but he has a poise about him that this team has been lacking. We should give Minnesota a 2028 second rounder for free, just as added thanks.

I wondered how Mo could score 50 in a game before he became to the hornets...I can see it now.
