Oladipo had seven turnovers, I wonder if their fans hate him too, and only three assists.

That's ridiculous. I can totally understand it if you are in the mix for a really good pick and you really suck. But we are not going to get better than the 13th pick unless we luck out in the lottery or we REALLY go on a huge losing streak....and that isn't good for anyone on the team. Sure the schedule is tough, and we may not have a great record for the rest of our games, but it is very unlikely someone gains 5 games on us, much less multiple teams, and even if they did, moving up a couple of picks probably doesn't matter. McD will have who he wants in a range and sure, there is a possibility a guy he really wants gets taken a pick before, but that is always a possibility regardless of your pick. There are a ton of power forwards ranked between 10-20 and there are probably strengths and weaknesses for all of them.

What is the point of watching games and being a fan of a team if you want the players you ALREADY have drafted to lose?

Now if there was a surefire superstar who would be taken first and we were one of the two worst teams in the league, fine, but losing enough games to allow a team or multiple teams to gain 5 games on us with 20 games left is one of the more ridiculous things I have heard, and on this board there have been plenty of ridiculous things said.

Edit: About Bledsoe....the dude is an awesome player and a freak of nature...obviously he needs to work on turnovers, but the main thing that really makes me cringe is his bounce passes in traffic. Most every time I see these, either the player he is passing to can't catch it or it is stolen.

Bledsoe will never be the guy who will get you 20+ points every game. He just doesn't play that way and we just have to accept it.

But defensively he is amazing and if he can just find consistency in terms of intensity and cut turnovers then he will be great as long as he has help around him.

btw... watching the Bucks, I think we gave up a really good player in Ennis. I see him developing into a great pg. Poise, calmness and intelligence already at 20 years old.

Ok, some positives:
Suns starting guards with 16 assists. Tucker with another solid game. Markieff bounced back with a solid game after wrongfully being ejected the other night. Both TJ and Goodwin got more minutes than Thornton, and Green didn't take any of their minutes either.

Oh, and we shot more free throws than the opposing team!!!

Intensity the only thing I want from Bledsoe for the FULL 48mins. If he plays with passion, he's one of the best guards to watch.

Turnovers hurt our offense.. I think he gets down when he makes a mistake and it shows with his play at times. Once he manages to get away from that, he will be fine.

It's funny, but NBAtv has their running scoreboard, and at the end of Bledsoe's line while three boards and one assist away from a triple double, they list his seven turnovers. Did they do that for Dipo? Nope, yet he had seven as well.

LMAO at people comparing a sophomore player to a 25 year old man on a $70 million contract

Not to mention Oladipo had like 36 pts on good efficiency.

Its more acceptable for Oladipo to make mistakes because its barely his 2nd year in the league. Its not as acceptable for Bledsoe to make those same number of mistakes because this is his 5th year in the league and he's making like s**t load more than Oladipo.

because len does not get 70 millions or whatever to do that.

Some people don't understand that higher pay comes more responsibilities.

That's how it is in ANY business, not just sports.

I'm going to get hate for this, but we should have kept 7.5 million dollar Isaiah Thomas and traded 14 million dollar Eric Bledsoe. IT is just so much more skilled. Elite ball handler and shooter that doesn't turn it over. Bled is neither of those things. A lot of people forget how good IT actually is.

I'm fine with that. I just wish we had cashed in on him before the deadline.

I wish Bullock would get playing time instead of Marcus Thornton.

Thorton is at least producing with 8 ppg while Bullock is at 2. DO you want him playing over Thorton because he's 5 years younger?

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Producing for who? He isn't averaging that for us, is he? Bullock was shooting 46% from three in the DLeague, and if paired with Bledsoe, he could easily get wide open looks from three. Plus Bullock is a better defender than Thornton.

Thornton is expiring let's see what Bullock can do since we still have him.

Thornton is 2-10 for us and 1-4 from three. Bullock is 1-3 for us and 0-1 from three. I think Bullock should get a few more shots before we think Thornton is producing more.

SF88 wrote:One thing that's going unnoticed by everyone during this miserable stretch that we've had lately is PJ Tucker's much improved offensive game.

I have no idea what's gotten into him but his numbers have been off the charts (for a non scorer like him) lately even in games that we lost.

He didn't even have 1 shot attempt in the 1st QTR and some of the 2nd qtr iirc and yet he's finishing in 7/10 shooting for 19 pts.

PJ Tucker was MVP in several European leagues. He can definitely score. That was not his role with Dragic, Bledsoe, IT, and Kief getting the lions share of shots. Now it seems to be Bledsoe, Knight, Kief, and Tucker.

Of all the games to overreact to does it have to be this one?
