To be fair, you swung & missed on Josh & the Monroe/Drum pairing/fit.

& its no secret that you dont like Monroe for whatever reason.

I never said Josh fit either, I just didn't want to make the same mistake with Monroe. Josh seems to be doing OK in Houston by the way, apparently he's not a cancer.

You said we should have kept Josh over Monroe which obviously would have been a colossal mistake. Its no surprise that when we took him off & let Monroe & Drummond take over that both are playing outstanding ball & we are winning. You also said Monroe & Drummond dont fit but again, they are thriving together & we are winning.

& Josh is the 8th guy off the bench & the 26th option in Houston, of course he fits. Did you happen to catch last night where they were up big then he started mocking the crowd. Then had 2 turnovers in crunch time & they lost?

Greg and Dre play decent together the reason we were playing at such a high level was because Jennings started to play at a high level and became our floor general and leader. When he got hurt we have been on a down fall.

Like said tho they play decent together but when your bigs are basically road blocks in the lane it makes it difficult for the guards to get to the hole. Thats a big reason why Greg gets hate because he offers no floor spacing.

Jennings played well but Monroe & Drummond are the main reason we have thrived. That & Josh is the dictionary definition of addition by subtraction.

Monroe gets hate from the same guys for the same phony reasons 99 times out of 100. Its a boring act that most everyone on here laughs at now.

Monroes about as solid as a #2 option gets.

Monroe and Drummond are not "thriving" together, check the numbers, they are much better alone in the paint just as I said they would be.

Obviously not true. You have dug your feet in on this topic though.

You're like that Baghdad Bob guy on this topic. When he said "we are slaughtering the Americans as they step foot in Iraq" as you see a US tank driving by in the background lol

Somebody actually posted the advanced numbers last week and they weren't even close. The team is better with only one of them on the floor and individually the same.

It would be difficult to pull dray from Golden state. I also like nic batum for SVG offense.

Jackson/jennings
Jennings/meeks
Batum/kcp/caron butler
Dray/tolliver
Dre/maybe trade for a big?

That was with Jackson at the point. With Jennings as the PG, that wasn't true.

The numbers were actually since the Smith buyout or whatever you want to call it, may have been a game or two with Jackson.

I'm assuming you're referring to this. Which is since Jackson showed up.

Per Zach Lowe -

Detroit (Post Josh) has been at its best with both Drummond and Monroe on the floor, per NBA.com. Monroe is beasting in the post, dishing snappy interior passes, and making smart reads on defense. He’ll never be a rim protector, but opposing ball handlers are shooting just 38.5 percent on pick-and-rolls in which Monroe’s man is the screener — a strong number, per Synergy.

No need to run a P&R when his primary responsibility is left alone in another area code

Synergy doesn't lie and Lowe has been one of the bigger critics of Monroe last year since he subscribes to the ideology of the stretch 4 era.

I think we should look outside the box for a true stretch four. Just find the best shooter who simply doesn't have NBA height and
