There are four people who should never ever die on this show: Rick, Carl, Michonne, and Daryl. Everyone else is expendable!

I don't think Daryl and Michonne are super safe. They'll die just not anytime soon.

Dayum.

I'm not sure about killing off Daryl. His badass character can provide a lot of tension and conflict in this pristine little community they're living in now.

I concur. And you could build a camp close to the ocean so you can have the Ocean at your back and whatever Zombies who were going to attack have to approach from one direction.

Hilarious- that was my plan as well. However, if you read World War Z- zombie hordes walk the floor of the ocean. So we'd have to build a wall around the perimeter of the island. My plan is to use storage containers for the walls and semis as the door. I'm pretty sure you could find a decent supply at a port somewhere.

Maggie is too hot to kill off. I already lost one Greene sister, I ain't losing another.

But yeah, Daryl is one of the stars of that show. Women seem to love him too so I think they'd lose a lot of viewership if he was killed

the pressure on the ocean floor would pop the zombies like a cherry tomato. clearly the answer is to find a cruise ship and take it out to calm waters and live on fish and solar power

Good point. How deep is the ocean around the Keys though? Maybe they wouldn't be able to walk but we'd probably get an occasional floater turn up on shore. Personally, I'd still want to encircle the island with storage containers just to be safe. Hell, if anything it'd allow for some protection from an amphibious invasion by rival factions. Now if we could get our hands on a nuclear sub, we'd be set for power too (which was a WWZ chapter).

The Zombie Survival Guide also said that off-shore oil rigs are generally safe from walkers. The biggest issue there is corrosion from the saltwater and collecting enough drinking water.

Didn't watch the latest episode and with House of Cards out, I hadn't even realized it until I saw this thread. This show has fallen so far in my eyes.

This pretty much. I still like the show and some of the characters but it's too much bad writing from episode to episode for me to even care. The game is the best written thing in TWD universe and that's including the source material. I'm looking forward to season 3 to get a release date.

I just finished House of Cards on Sunday, it was too damn good! I couldn't help myself. I'm going to re-watch the entire series in the summer if I have time. BTW, have you checked out Better Call Saul?

The source material is the biggest problem. The comic book sucks. I don't know why anybody gets excited about it. It absolutely sucks.

The game is incredible. I wound up buying GoT and Fable bc they're made by the same group and I have no familiarity with Fable whatsoever.

House of Cards is incredible. I'm at episode 8 and that's with me trying to take my time. I think I'll check out the UK version that inspired it pretty soon to try and cope with the loss. Haven't watched Better Call Saul yet, but I plan to. I've just been too damned busy to pick up another tv series right now. Breaking Bad is my GOAT series though, I can't keep neglecting Saul.

That's why it will be interesting to see what they do with the spin off show since it won't be under the constraints of following the source material.

Here's what the writers should do. Have Daryl split off from the group, and it could be over anything even the fact that Beth died and they blew it. But you don't kill him off because fans will revolt, instead you toy with the idea that he can come back later or potentially end up on the spin off (because what better way to sell a new series than to have cameos from familiar faces). So you keep everyone's fan favorite alive, he can do any number of things off screen and you create more screen time to develop some characters into something we care about. They should really do this with multiple characters. Bring down the number of character vying for screen time, open space for new introductions and create room for later storylines where characters are reunited. The best part of the past two seasons for me (or at least the most intriguing for the future) were the cameos from Rick's old friend and wondering what the guy is planning.

Or he becomes
Spoiler:
The Show's version of Dwight after he is sent packing from the Safe Zone. Dwight was also a crossbow wielding archer. It'd be cool that he turns on the group that turned on him and then eventually comes back to the good side.
