Tucker has been playing like a stud for a few games now, pretty much back to the guy we had last year. All the effort, and he doesn't take shots out of other guys hands.

If we trade the MoBros, we better be getting a super stud in return. Love them or hate them, they put up numbers, and bring toughness that we've lacked for years.

This. If Warren and Archie are our future stars, then adding a SF or SG is not the best use of funds. Look to solidify the PF/C spot by adding more bulk and rebounding.

I hope the Morris twins stay with the Suns for a long time. They are fun to watch.

Agreed. Despite what most of our board says, they're on great contracts. For some reason people either love them or hate them. Kieff is the longest tenured Sun at the moment. I don't see them going anywhere but adding a veteran star big who can take them under their wing wouldn't be a bad idea.

It's the 2K mentality people have here. Morris twins have chemistry, and if Kief can pick up his rebounding, we'd be a lot better off.

I'm beginning to think we bring him back on another 2/3 year deal. He wouldn't be a bad 4th guard in our rotation. (Bled, Knight, Goodwin, Green). Plus he's shows he can win us games when he's on.

Green hasn't been on in a long time. His shooting has shot us out of games more than it has won us games. No thanks.

Id like to see the Suns bring back Nash if he is up for it. A veteran of his presence, with such great work ethic, is exactly who is needed for the young guys. Its also a bonus for the fans, as we get to see him retire a Sun, and who knows, with our medical staff, maybe Nash could end up giving them some productive minutes on the court. Although I highly doubt that happens, the Suns do need a backup point guard. Even if he is done with playing and doesn't want to spend a year as a cheerleader, the Suns need to do whatever it takes to bring him into the fold of the organization in some capacity. It would certainly help our image, which seems to be really taking some hits lately.

He runs Canadian basketball. He also has a ton of outside interests. I would never say never, but it's highly unlikely he'll ever work for the Suns in any capacity again.

Nash said recently that his injuries are too much for him to overcome at this stage. I guess he's retiring after this season. I'd love him as an assisstant coach though.

Nash is the man. We sent the Lakers an atom bomb that put them in a total jam.

Nash as an assistant coach could be exactly what we need. Look at the Wolves since KG came back. The vibe has changed completely.

Steve Nash is exactly what Eric Bledsoe needs. Make him the highest paid assistant in the NBA if you need to. He would be perfect here.

I won't be shocked if McD put big money on Draymond Green. Just ended 25 years, DPOY candidate, stretch four, good passer. Make too much sense.

If we brought in Draymond Green to be our PF that would send a loud message to Markieff. I feel like Markieff views himself as the Sun starting PF, and and would not go quietly back to a bench role.

If this team brings in a new stud PF to be the starting 4, Keef will be part of the outgoing trade package.

Hmm. I really don't think he'd be that upset given that he'd still be getting starter minutes because we're bound to go small ball for some of the game.

I would get rid of our whole assistant staff, throw money at Mike Fratello, Nash or Grant Hill, and Kareem for our bigs.

That and Dray would foul out of every game here, possibly by third quarter.

I did forget about the "brothers bond" that Keef and Marcus have. I don't think I've ever seen brothers as close as these two.

So maybe yes, Keef would accept a role off the bench (if it was substantial), as long as he could remain and play alongside his brother.

If Green can play SF, then he's 100% a target. That's our position right now that we need with Butler, Green, Leonard and Harris in our sights. If we trade the Morri, then also he fits in, but still need to upgrade SF.

We have the type of assets that could entice a team to not match, we don't need to use any more draft picks, so we have our owns and 3 additional 1st. Tucker would be surplus or we could trade a 1st round player like Goodwin, Warren or Bullock. Then we have our own free agents that we can S + T.

For a 15m type player, I'd be prepared to do draft pick and player, similar to the Knight deal, but I'd be more confident about the potential of the SF. I'd rather get the player via S+T for very neglible pieces (compared to a guy you anticipate to be a star), than try to outbid a restricted FA.

Our assets probably won't 'change the minds', but for teams in a Dragic situation, we have enough pieces to entice them to get something than nothing.

If Suns ever gets Draymond Green... I'd move the Morris twins as fast as possible.
Make Tucker and Draymond interchangeable around the SF/PF position... both play good defense, hustles, grab boards, creates space and are not ISO players.

Then offer Danny Green a contract also.
Unfortunately it means letting Gerald Green and Marcus Thornton go (or fortunately for some).

C: Len / Wright
PF: Green / Tucker
SF: Tucker / Warren / Tucker
SG: Knight / Green
PG: Bledsoe / Goodwin

if Suns can get Cousins for Morris twins OR Len, Knight, picks that would be great too.

But the key is having a very defensive, energetic, versatile forward combination....

It would be amazing for me to see Nash playing like a Sun again ....but it seems impossible.
Steve Nash hasn’t made any formal pronouncements regarding the end of his career, but he’s under no illusions that he’ll be coming back to the NBA, as he made clear Tuesday on The Bro Jake Show on TSN Radio 1040 Vancouver, as TSN.ca transcribes. Nash’s contract with the Lakers expires at season’s end.

“I never worked as hard as I did the last 18 months, two years, twice a day almost every day to try to just give it that one last year,” Nash said. “And I finally just had to admit that it’s just not meant to be.”

Nash added that he accepts the situation because “I gave it everything I possibly could.”
