76ers are very underrated defensively and Noel is already one of the best defenders in the NBA.

Simply because I didn't expect to be taken to OT, at home, by the lowly, lowly 76ers; especially since the trade we've blown out better teams than that. But, this is the NBA and when you sleepwalk and give roughly 5% effort on defense for 3 quarters, any team on any given night can give you a scare.
I say that to say this: it's still a little difficult for me to fully appreciate Russ' game tonight simply because I'm not happy about needing OT to beat the 76ers. I think I'll have to go back and re-watch the game on Friday or Saturday when the Thunder aren't playing. Still, I am aware of how amazing he was tonight. The guy really is a freak of nature.
Yeah, I get what your saying. The bigs just flat didn't show. McGary and Nick were solid, but Ibaka and Kanter were completely missing, and the perimeter D was worrying again. Russ was awesome, and Waiters finally had a good game.
Yeah, but that really did look like a game where the team just came out with absolutely zero respect for the opponent, and put forth next to no effort for three quarters. I remember at various points throughout the game thinking some of the guys just looked completely disinterested. It almost came back to bite them in the butt. I mean, yeah, the 76ers have a handful of players in their rotation that wouldn't be able to find a spot on another NBA roster, but they're still NBA players and you can't come out and just completely overlook someone.

True, I kept waiting for them to go, but they never really did.

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

He's been putting up great efficiency as a ball handler and a scorer
119 ORTG
50.0% AST% with only a 12.8 TOV% ( that is incredibly efficient for someone with so many possessions handling the ball )
Hell even his TS% is up to 57.2 in that stretch
His box score stats are crazy 31.5/9.0/9.5 in 35.4 Minutes
Im very impressed
