Suns made bad decisions by going out to get IT, completely ruined out chemistry then making Bled run point which is imsane after an all star year Goran had. Who can trust this team after all this crap they been pulling lately. It was a bad way to demand a trade but it is what it is he wanted off this team badly and it just happened to come right before the trading deadline but its not like he planned that on purpose to literally **** us over.

What gets me is that Dragic blames the front office for all of his problems.

Isn't Horancek the one the chose to put Dragic in the corner?

He's the coach and he somehow escapes all blame for everything that goes on. Somehow all the players suck and the front office are all liars but Hornacek seems above the law and a great coach.

I would get out of town I were him.

Your misinterpreting imo, Dragic never singled out FO. Iirc, he said "they lied to me. I don't trust them".

"They" and "them" refer to Hornacek, Babby and McD imo.

What's impressed me about the Heat is that everybody is so connected. It doesn't matter if you're working in the front office or you're just a security guy at the game, it looks like they're in this to win a championship. You can see they're one big family, a lot of interesting characters, like Michael Beasley, who I played with in Phoenix. They're always going to be there for you, they're going to have your back.

I felt that right away when D-Wade texted me as soon as I landed in Miami. He is just unbelievable. He's a future Hall of Famer and he's such a nice guy, humble guy. I already have a close bond with him and spend a lot of time talking to him about basketball.

I didn't have a player like that in Phoenix. He also organized a team dinner for us in New Orleans. For Zoki, Luol has been spending a lot of time with him. D-Wade and Luol still talk to each of us after every game, checking on us.

I already feel different in Miami, and something clicked on Monday. After we beat the Suns, I spent time with one of my old coaches and other friends from Slovenia, who were in Miami all week for vacation. I had fun showing them inside the locker room. Then later that night, I had dinner with Zoki at Prime 112 on Miami Beach, and the manager of the restaurant welcomed us to Miami. D-Wade was there, too, and it was a great time. We were laughing together, happy from the win. He thanked me for having his back in the game.

At that moment, I really felt like Miami was home.

Let me just mention that the Miami Heat have a great organization. D-Wade and Luol Deng are basically veterans and have probably seen it all. They got unlucky with Lebron leaving for Cleveland but they really want to win. The SUNS used to be a major threat in the West but that has changed. The landscape in the NBA is very different and now players care about their contract plus perks.

I'm convinced after reading a recent post by NotTraxxe that the SUNS will not get any calls, any star players or even a chance to get back to winning ways until Sarver gets rid of the team. He is far too hated and it really has shown in the past season. I'm sorry but that state of this team is in shambles.

Goran Dragic on Suns comments: 'I feel bad...I didn't mean it like that'

Goran Dragic's falling out with the Phoenix Suns came to a head when the All-NBA guard asked for a trade before publicly commenting that he no longer trusted the team's front office.

Dragic, whose wish was granted when he was shipped to the Miami Heat at the trade deadline, now sounds regretful about some of those comments.

"When I now look back on what I said about the Suns before the trade, I feel bad, because it came out a little too harsh," Dragic told Bleacher Report's Jared Zwerling. "I didn't mean it like that, but it happened in that moment, so I cannot go back and change it. I just said what I was thinking."

"I'm an honest guy and I had never said something bad about that organization," Dragic added. "They were always great to me. They were like family, so I didn't mean that. But at the same time, I thought that the situation was not good anymore for me, so that's why it came out like that."

Dragic, who spent parts of six of his seven NBA seasons in Phoenix over two different stints with the Suns, saw his touches and usage dip in this his contract year due to a crowded back court that included Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas.

With time to reflect, Dragic has since apologized to Suns owner Robert Sarver.

"We had a good conversation ... He knew that I was not going to re-sign with them, so I wanted to do something before the trade deadline and hopefully they could get some players or some picks. I really appreciated what he did - trading me," Dragic said.

The Suns, who also shipped Thomas out of town and acquired Brandon Knight from the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team trade with the Philadelphia 76ers, are 2.5 games behind eighth-place Oklahoma City in the Western Conference.

Dragic's Heat, meanwhile, are staying afloat without Chris Bosh in the inferior Eastern Conference, holding onto the seventh spot with a record of 27-33.

Dragic is averaging 15.9 points, 4.9 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals on 51 percent shooting in seven games with Miami, with the Heat going 4-3 during that time.

Yeah I saw that the other day but thought it would have already been mentioned on here. When I read it, I got a well that is some nice backtracking because it's easy to say that now. Sorry, I can't accept that as a legit apology though. You don't just call out a front office and then once you are traded say oh..sorry I didnt mean it like that. Too late Goran.

Contrary to the made up BULL SH*T that people tried to spew up about Dragic being unhappy about Zoran's playing time or whatever, ONCE AGAIN, not true

Goran Dragic has no issue with brother's shift to D-League

With his brother sent to the D-League, Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic said he does not view the move with Zoran Dragic as a form of banishment and indicated it would have no impact in his impending free agency.

Goran Dragic, who is expected to opt out of the final season on his contract and become a free agent in July, reiterated Friday that his focus is on re-signing with the Heat. His brother has one year remaining in his contract.

As for the Heat's shift of Zoran Dragic to Sioux Falls Skyforce, Goran Dragic said it probably is for the best, with his brother seeing only minimal action this season first with the Phoenix Suns and now the Heat.

"I mean, it’s not tough. We are both professional. We've doing our job. It's not the first time that we are separated," Goran said in advance of Friday's game against the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center, with Zoran only this season making the jump to the NBA after previously playing in Europe.

"The last time he played [extended minutes] was in the World Cup and that was this summer. It's a lot of time that he didn't get action, he didn't play five on five, and you lose that rhythm. And I think it's a good thing that he went down there and he can play a lot of minutes and try to get his groove back."

Goran said he was heartened by the Heat's approach with the NBA Development League, with Heat teammates Hassan Whiteside, Shabazz Napier, Tyler Johnson and Henry Walker having spent time in Sioux Falls this season.

"We have a couple of examples that they were playing there and the most important thing is they were ready," he said.

From what i was told, we tried to send Zoran to the D-League, but he was against it and pretty much flat out refused to go. Goran stood by his side saying that it was a step down for Zoran as he has been a professional for years.

Goran is saying what he is saying now because he just got traded to the team he wanted to play for and is looking for his next big contract from them, so he isnt trying to ruffle any feathers.

So... Goran has now basically admitted there was never any breach of trust and he only said what he said in order to better his own situation. And yet, somehow, there are STILL fans who sanctify him.

I admire him for apologizing but it blows my mind that there are still a big chunk of fans who think everything he did was perfectly fine.

An old decrepit Nash...sure.

so when your FO forces a player to leave, you go hating on the player?

Thats some f.... up logic right there, life must be hard for you

I must've missed something. We forced Goran Dragic out? Interesting.... I thought he was the one who said F u trade me! 2 days before trade deadline.

they wanted to trade him before that. they were basically saying they dont trust him if he is going to resign. that and diminished role lead to him saying "F U, trade me then, but i want to have at least some control of where im going."
