Have we won a game yet this season where we played worse than we did tonight? The first 3 1/2 quarters were about as bad a game as I've seen the Suns play this season. Very happy with the win though.

Dear Markieff Morris, We you're facing a team playing 4 guards in their starting line-up... it's your responsibility to out rebound them. You should feel insulted by the fact that the Nets think they can start a 4 guard line-up against you, obviously you've proved them right.

Dear Jeff Hornacek, Marcus Thornton... why do you play Marcus Thornton at the beginning of the 4th quarter? You really felt the best way to fight back from a double digit 4th quarter deficit in a game where your team has just missed 20 3pointers in a row, is to insert yet another trigger happy chucker hoisting up contested long shots? The team was getting into the lane at will... utilize that - once the defense collapses you'll get plenty of open looks.

Dear P.J. Tucker, buy an alarm clock.

Dear Markieff Morris, seriously the only Suns players you out rebounded tonight were Archie Goodwin, Gerald Green, and Marcus Thornton - who played 5,7,12 minutes respectively.

Dear Lionel Hollins, thank you for only playing Cory Jefferson 16 minutes.

Dear Markieff Morris, 15 players played more than 15 minutes today. You played 41 minutes. The only player who played more than 15 minutes that you managed to out rebound was Deron Williams.

Dear Eric Bledsoe, you're awesome.

Dear Alex Len, you're awesome. Just try to stay on the court.

Dear Markieff Morris, Your per 36 minutes rebounds ratio for tonights game was 4.4. Cory Jefferson's, the only power forward you faced today, was 29.3.

Lol I accidentally and one'd you but I wish I didn't. This is basically more of the I hate the Morris brothers, Hornacek sucks regurgitation most people here somehow believe. Kieff played well. Not sure what game you were watching. 19 4 and 5 on near 50% shooting is horrible.

We outrebounded/kept pace with them as a team when Markieff was on the floor - boxing out is a thing, in case you didn't know. Bledsoe scooped up 10 and even stole a few from Keef. They didn't start going ham on the boards until Keef was out. Cory Jefferson went beast when he was being guarded (and not boxed out) by PJ Tucker. BroLo took Wright to task on the boards, not Keef.

By the way, we had spot up looks in the corner and at the top of the arc for 40% 3 point shooters. Sometimes they just don't go down.

You people will complain about literally anything.

Seriously. We have a bunch of box score readers more than people who actually watch the game. It's infuriating to be here most of the time.

Since when is grabbing 5 rebounds and shooting 43.7% the same as going 19/7 and near 50%? I love though how you prefaced inflating his stats by saying "Not sure what game you were watching.".

I honestly don't see how you can defend Markeiff Morris after his atrocious display on rebounding tonight. I honestly feel like you responded to my post, but didn't bother to read it first, and just blindly started defending Markeiff. I realize it was a bit long so I've summarized it for your convenience.

Your letter addressed Kieff in 4 different spots. Your post was a big mess of disarray.

Green and Thornton with a combined 20 mins while Goodwin plays well for 5 mins and doesn't get anymore time.

I just don't understand the fascination with Green and Thornton. I just don't.

90% of Eric's turnovers are on Eric and no one else. When you play against the best athletes in the world, run the same base sets all game because you literally can't run any other sets and you stare down every single pass you make you're going to turn it over. A LOT.

I wish telegraphing his passes was all we had to worry about with him. He has no awareness out there and he's far too casual with his dribble. Fix any one of his turnover problems and he still would lead this team in miscues. I still think he's a good player but he'll never take us where we want to go if he can't get his turnovers under control.

Great game Brandon Knight. Huge win and huge shot when things hadn't been going well. Suppose it's Jeff's fault for installing confidence in him to keep at it?

Crying over Len spraining the same ankle. **** happens. He's walking on it after the game so clearly it's not too bad.

I wish the defeatist attitude could be dropped from this board. It'd be a hell of a better place to be.

So the latest excuse from the Kieff apologists is that his rebounding numbers are low because he's boxing out? Honestly it's hard to think of a starting power forward in this league worse at boxing out / positioning than Markeiff Morris. And Bledsoe is stealing his rebounds? You Kieff apologists are just getting desperate now.

Cory Jefferson was clearly Markeiff Morris' defensive assignment in the 3rd, where he out-rebounded Keiff 6-0. Please re-watch 3rd quarter 4:58 till the end of the third, Markeiff was clearly defending Jefferson (and vice versa) and it was a laughable display of incompetence in terms of boxing out / going after rebounds. Again, re-watch the 3rd quarter starting at 4:58 and tell me that Markeiff was doing a good job (or even average job for that matter) .

Considering its a known fact that once you sprained your ankle it becomes more prone to get sprains as it gets weaker.

I know first hand, several sprains throughout the years now I can play basketball without an ankle brace... Ankle is weak now... Doesn't resists any bumps on the court...

Len will need to start wearin brace or a special designed shoes. Or he can tape his ankle.

Steph Curry also had ankle issues but has starte wearing brace and wearing shoes that are beyond high tops... And he has had his best season since.

Having ankle and knee brace also helps confidence in playing more aggressive. I know I can land on other peoples feet and the brace will prevent my ankle from going beyond Its maximum allowable bend.

Len needs to do this ASAP.

Just like what I said about him focusing on defense and rebounding to get a role on this team... Well now he needs to focus on a healthy career also. He needs to take precautions and reinforcing his ankles is the first step.

Wow what an experience. We were on TV like 2-3 times. Morris and Tucker fell just infront of us hustling on D. Jarret Jack talk to me 3 times: 1st time was when the ball was deflected out of bounds toward me and he said "damn he thought u were playing". Second time something like that happened again and then on the 3rd incident when Tucker fell infront of me Jack said "damn u been active all night". If you rewatch the game I was the guy waiving my arms all the time and jumping up and down during the last 5 min of 4th quarter and OT.

Such a ridiculously fun experience having floor seats!!!

Nice! I was wondering who Tucker almost crashed into with the Suns jersey on. Looks like you had a blast.

Lol - you looked pretty happy when Tucker fell in front of you. I didn't read the game thread until after the game, but I remember seeing you and thinking, "I wonder if that's a realGM poster..." Ha

That's awesome.

Iirc, Bledsoe also fell on top of some Suns fans right when he was trying to steal one of those last Brooklyn possessions? The one which Deron touched?

Return to Phoenix Suns
