1.) i am discussing the benefits of the playoffs, not that we can still make them
2.) its highly unlikely we make the playoffs
3.) i don't like losing, i am not going to cheer for my team to lose, i am not a quitter. I miss the days of Blue Collar fans
4.) Wins aren't meaningless, i'd rather win on out, not make the playoffs and have our young core confident, than lose out, continue to show Dre this is a place he can't win, but get a SF that we can all over hype but FACT is , isn't ready. This isn't 2k, there's the mental aspect of the game, and Dre's perception about this team should not be forgotten.
5.) Regardless of if we win or lose out, SVG has a plan, knows wtf he's doing, we're closer to winning than losing, taking 1 step back doesn't mean 2 steps forward. SVG has even stated that.

Where is this great young core right now you Want to see develop. Monroe is out, Jennings is injured, KCP cant shoot for ****, Jackson doesnt look like anything special and about to be a FA, Eveyone else is older and just expiring contracts. The only one that really has a chance of being a special player is Drummond and he looks disinterested at the moment. We need actual young talent and more talent to develop first. And youre best chance of aquiring that is currently in the draft.

I still root for them to win and play hard but no a few March and April wins are definitely not better for our future in the long term than another young prospect like one of these SFs to have to develop for the next 8-9 years.

if we continue to lose Drummond is going ot follow monroe. Again your putting too much value in the draft.

You need to pick a side of the fence, you keep saying your fine with winning, "BUT" . So which one is it? you want them to win or not?

I'm somewhere in the middle. If I knew this team was capable of being and looking like a playoff team like it did during that run then yes for sure lets build on some playoff experience. Right now it just looks like Stan is more worried about the future then the now. He's trying to rebuild this roster and make it one of his own. Now I think he needs to get a solid top 10 pick to add to the nucleus. I just see the team in too big of a transitional state to really take entering the playoffs as a 30 something win team by default with a roster of half of which including its best player will more then likely be gone next year.

i've said since the beginning of the season that Drummond is very overrated. He's a great cog but not somebody you wanna build your team around. He has NO offensive game and is a liability at times

He's definitely a piece you build with. The guy can dominate the league with just a dunk in his offensive game. His size, athleticism and speed is just unmatched by anyone in the league when his head is in the game. But the only thing that stops him is that motor. We've seen him first hand dismantle any front court in the league and not even be able to buy a beer yet but then come out and look like he doesn't care the next night.

Either way I just don't know how you couldn't love having him on this team. You like hate the guy and I just sit and drool at his potential and what he's already accomplished, he's one of the only reasons I'm so pumped on game nights. Because when he is locked in and decides he wants to dominate the paint ain't nobody stopping him.

The Dre motor thing is overblown imo, if his motor was a problem he wouldn't be the league leader in offense rebounds. His problem is Bball IQ definitely not the smartest player but his motor and athleticism is what makes him so good.

In other news, Anthony Davis has 17, 8 & 6 at halftime vs Brandon Bass who I know some on here love, im sure C fans think its only them he does that to as well lol

Celtics won the game and Bass was their second leading scorer so he must have done something right.

Bass had 17 & 6 while Davis had 29 & 14 on him.

The effort you put into the spin is hilarious.
