THOMAS DISAPPOINTED WITH BENCH ROLE
Boston's Avery Bradley is dealing with a strained elbow, but Celtics coach Brad Stevens elected to start Jae Crowder instead of Isaiah Thomas in Bradley's place tonight against New Orleans. Thomas wasn't shy about his desire to start: "Hopefully one day that time will come."

SURPRISE everyone.

Mavs now playing with Barea/Ellis and Rondo hahaha

I think most people never had a problem with playing that line-up when we were desperate, most here had a problem with us playing a Bledsoe, Thomas, Dragic, M.Morris & M.Morris line-up when we had the lead, were closing out games and were seemingly in control.

A 3 small guard line-up should be an deviation from your regular rotation (in times of desperate need for points in a hurry) not the bedrock of it.
I never had a problem with the 3 pg lineup. The Suns started a trend that most, if not all, teams use to some extent now. I think analytics show that this is effective if used the right way.

What I didn't like was tiny ball. When they had Keef at C, Tucker at PF and the 3 pg. I hated that line up, even if statistically it did well.

I liked the line up of Len (defense), Wright at PF (defense) and the 3 pg. A balance of scoring plus defense. We didn't run this line up often, but on the rare times we did it looked very effective.

Are you trolling or are you just ignorant?

How many f***king times does ever poster on this forum have to tell you that IT wasn't content with just being a "scorer off the bench" for the Suns and that's why they traded him?

How many times will it take to get through to your damn thick skull?

I know I'm being mean in this post but this is your billionth time ignoring reality.

Hardly any here think he's horrible. However, many here including myself think he's not starting caliber.

That's the difference.

BINGO!!!!
The fact that he is b1tching on his 3rd straight team about his playing time/opportunities should also speak volumes.
Dude is a wonderfully talented basketball player, who doesn't really have much brain, or a realistic view on his own life. Which pretty much negates all the positive things he could do on the court. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Let's slow your roll here. I know PHX had a love/hate relationship with Thomas, but Thomas was never b******* in Sac. Cousins was, but not Thomas. Thomas hasn't cried about it in Boston either. If you are talking about those tweets, you have a much different definition of b******* than I do. He was asked if he wanted to start, and he said, yeah I'd like to..maybe one day. Obviously he wants to be a starter, but on a different quote, he followed up saying he'd rather finish games then start them, and he loves how much faith the coaching staff and players have in him whenever he is out there. It's not really a black and white situation.

it's to get them to the salary floor spending as little money as possible (since they only have to pay 2 months of their salary but the whole season counts to the floor)

I understand their reasoning, just feel bad for all the guys getting cut, and then go to Siberia after being cut. That's just mean.
