PG: We have more than enough... bad play

Post#1 » by Rerisen » Sun Mar 8, 2015 7:29 pm

Too many bad or limited players in the rotation right now.

Aaron Brooks is not a PG, he's a scoring guard in a point guards body. The usual horrible defense.

Kirk Hinich is the old guy at the Y that should have given it up years ago.

Mike Dunleavy is only going to give you what other people set up for him.

Snell showng signs of regression lately and McDermott simply taking up space and showing very little ability to produce offense in versatile ways. Doug now 9-30 since being put back in the rotation.

The wing situation was right back to the blight it was early in the year.

Noah hardly needs to be guarded at all.

Mirotic with lots of bad turnovers and just failing to finish plays today.

Pau and Moore, thanks for showing up.

Cavs now move ahead of us and probably not looking back for home court in the 2nd round. The Bulls chances take a big hit on that reality. Tall order beating LeBron 4/7 in his building.

I didn't expect to win, but it's still frustrating seeing the same things kill you even when you were actually healthy.

Yeah, we definitely need Rose to win against the upper echelon of teams.

The Pacers game hurts us a lot more. Spurs at fulls strength beat Lebron, Wade, Bosh, and Ray Allen. We only had Gasol.

Thibs can only dream of being as good of a coach as I am at posting written things, like this, right here.
Yeah, well you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

We need everything to be perfect to win games basically. I mean who else can have that many guys out expect to consistently beat good teams?

I actually dont expect to win any games with Rose, Jimmy and Taj out. There has to be a perfect storm of great play from certain guys to stand a chance.

Right now the last few games, Snell has been invisible. Brooks has been awful to average. And Noah while passing great, isnt giving you scoring either.

So unless Niko is on fire and Pau is beasting, and guys are hitting their 3s, we will struggle against everyone.

That's was a Good Spurs team at full force we just lost to. Turnovers just killed us though, limit those and we would of had a chance.

We need efficient outside shooting to beat these good teams.

Gotta love that homecooking though nearly everyone playing poor made matters worse.

No point in worrying about seeding on a game by game basis. It will take care of itself by mid April. We have to beat Cleveland or Atlanta or Toronto regardless so it is what it is.

Tough back-to-back tomorrow night against Memphis. Might have a little losing streak until later this week against Philly and Charlotte.

Turnovers killed the Bulls, plain and simple.

We can talk about this player being horrible, etc. But the bottom line is, the Bulls take care of the ball they have a good shot of winning this game, even with Tony Parker destroying Brooks, Hinrich and Moore (none of them could guard him).

San Antonio had 35 fast break points. Most of those came off Chicago turnovers. The Bulls had 20 turnovers, and they were spread out among the players -- the only guys who didn't turn it over at least once were McDermott and Snell.

My other thought is that Thibs should have kept Nazr in to start the 4th, because he was the one who led the mini-run at the end of the 3rd quarter. But maybe he was exhausted. I would have kept him out there for at least the first 2-3 minutes to see if Chicago could get off to a good start to the final qtr.

Instead, they opened the 4th with 5 turnovers in the first 6 possessions...and that was pretty much all she wrote.

The Spurs are a very good team. They are going to give whoever they play in the postseason a tough time. People are crazy if they think SA will be an easy out.

One last crazy note. This is the first time in his NBA career that Tim Duncan failed to make a FG in a game.

Expected the loss so.... Shrugs. At least Brooks seems to be getting out of the shooting slump. McD got back to 'sucks' status

On to the next one.

The team played at the level where they should be at without 3 of our top 6 guys. Spurs with a playoff performance and 100% healthy. Leonard shut down our offensive options one by one
I guess we were fortunate to win OKC and WAS
Come back soon, Jimmy

Brooks and Hinrich were locked in a battle to the death to see who could be the worst PG Defender....

I'm not sure why the Bulls thought it was a good idea to run an gun with the Spurs....it was only ever going to lead to the horrible turnover and fast break points allowed numbers

Return to Chicago Bulls
