Games like this are so depressing. When the team just doesn't show up. Beat down by a team you know you can win against. Then Cody gets injured. Gaaah.

There's a heap of junk on this roster. I feel Cliff does a good job of hiding it. We saw what they're worth last night. Just zero. Not having a star hurts but having a large number of dead roster spots hurts even more. We lack skill on top and depth on the bottom. How is a team supposed to win? Terrible roster composition from our loser GM.

M.I I dont see how you say Cliff does a good job of hiding our junk. He's a mediocre coach. We win despite of him. We've lost many games late that we've had in the bag cause of him. We dont play to our strengths, he coaches a philosophy that we arent equipped for and he wont make adjustments. That's almost the worst part, he's so stubborn he wont correct his mistakes.
We've blamed everyone but him, the players, Cho, Jordan, no...it's the coach. Cho has brought in good talent, good rookie drafts, big name free agents, good character players who really dont get enough praise for not turning on this guy, but Cho get's blamed! We should be out rebounding almost everyone we play, we are built to be physical, defensive, hard nosed, and Cliff wants to be another perimeter oriented jump shooting team. We should be one of the top 5 teams in the east, coaching has prevented that. MKG should be more developed and more productive, coaching has prevented that. How does Lance fall off so bad in one year? I knew off top he was a bad fit, but we don't utilise him correct, the coach should be able to play to your strengths, Cliff only does that to a few of our guys. If we miss the playoffs, this guy maybe should get 1 more year, but I wouldnt be surprised if he's fired for failing to peoduce in the weak eastern conference, we have underachieved this year even with the injuries which may be the only thing to save his job this year if we dont improve.

How can you ignore the 7 dead roster spots? That's half the freakin' roster.

This is directed at generally everyone who has been chronically complaining about Clifford all season long. But I'm sick of it. If you can ignore all the embarrassing players (no need to list them you saw 5 suck ass last night) good for you. But I'm sick of it. And I don't think anyone should talk junk about Clifford without at least addressing the weakness of the talent surrounding him. No stars at the top, no depth at the bottom. Acknowledge that and the conversation about Cliff becomes more honest.
I'm not going to indulge any dishonest bashing of Cliff.

After 5 straight wins, we suffered a lopsided loss. Nothing to worry about as these type of games happens to every team. Time to start another run.

Re: GT: Washington vs Charlotte Mon March 9th 7pm EST
Last nights game is a something that just happens every now and then to every team. It was not any one persons fault. The bigger problem is that we should be in a better spot right now than we are. The loss looks worse because Cliff blew some games early on and injuries cost us some more. Coaching has been a major weakness this season but I have seen some signs lately that he is learning. I want to stick with him and see if he can grow as a coach. With the talent we have on the roster we should be more secure in the standings but if Cliff is learning lessons this season that help us down the road I am fine with where we are.

It's rumored that Clifford is just as responsible for the few dead roster spots as Cho since allegedly he urged Cho to sign Marvin Williams & Brian Roberts among others like Jason Maxiell

I dont think we have that many dead spots at all
Kemba, Mo and Roberts at PG, Roberts has been decent for us as a backup, he like alot of others seems to be sometimes overly bashed, but he's not been a major weak point for us at all. Mo has played well enough to question whether he could start over Kemba, the PG spot is ok.
Hendo and Lance at SG. Hendo has been solid all year, Lance has been a major disappointment. Mo will be playing SG when Kemba returns cause Cliff wants scorers.
MKG and Hendo-Lance-JT we cant say the SF position is bad cause MKG has played well and when he's not playing we move Hendo or Lance to that spot and play Cliffs perimeter offense
Cody and Marv. Cody has had his moments, Marv as well, but Cody is really improving and showing his worth. Marv does just was Cliff wants, streches the floor at the four spot, we allknew he was undersized as a PF, but this is Cliff's guy as he is the one Cliff goes to down the strech, so if he's bad then blame the coach who loves him.
Al, Max, Biz, Al kinda disappointed me with his play, Biz has been up and down, and Max has had some moments. What I'll say is that the two backups are undersized for center, Al is steady, could be alot better, Biz had his moments but he's just not talented enough. This is our weakest position.
So from what I see, we could improve our backup PF and backup Center spots, I dont see 7 positions that we are weak at.

Cho got the guys Cliff wanted and drafted the players that we shouldve drafted. When we needed a SF, Cho got MKG, when we needed a big we got Cody, when Noah fell to us, it was the no brainer that we should grab him even though we never got the chance to see how he looked cause he didnt wanna workout for us.
Cliff wanted Lance, Marv, B Roberts, Neal and Max, these guys who get the most hate on this board. And let's not forget, he tried to replace MKG with Gordon Hayward, and actually he didnt even wanna start MKG this year, the only reason we did was cause Hendo was hurt, Marv was named a starter on the team this year before MKG was.
