Danilo will join Real Madrid on a transfer from Porto, according to Barcelona's new transfer advisor Charly Rexach.
Barcelona has targeted Danilo as a replacement for Dani Alves, who is set to leave Camp Nou this summer.
Reports had indicated that Real Madrid reached agreement on a €30 million transfer with Porto and a contract with Danilo that would triple his current wages.
"They have told me that the deal is already done, but I do not know for sure," the former Barca player and coach said. "[Danilo] must decide that himself."
Danilo would compete for his place in Real Madrid's XI with Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Arbeloa.
