Re: 2015 Free Agency Thread
i would prefer to groom Noah into the starting PF of the future than pay Harris who knows how much money.

Re: 2015 Free Agency Thread
Harris makes me think of Rudy Gay, gets his stats but doesn't really help the team win games.

2015 Free Agency Thread
Couldnt find the other FA thread from last year so I assume its buried. 2015 Free agency is still a few months away and also, unless Jefferson and/or Hendo opt out or they dump salary in a trade after the season, Charlotte isnt going to have a tremendous amount of $ with which to play.
With this in mind, I figure it makes sense to have a thread devoted to under the radar guys who may be able to be signed relatively cheap as value additions this off-season.
To start out, I cant believe I'm actually suggesting this, but someone who has caught my eye lately is none other than Alexis Ajinca. I just noticed Lamar also remarked about Ajinca's recent play on the around the NBA thread.
During these past 5 games with Anthony Davis out, Ajinca has been getting regular minutes and during this span has averaged 14.6pts, 7.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 23mpg while shooting 69% from the field and 81% from the charity stripe. Also had a couple other good games earlier this year filling in for Davis when he previously missed time. Ajinca still picks up fouls at an inordinate rate but has finally put on some weight and appears to be around 250 now. He's still only 26 and would be worth a look if he can be signed reasonably. Could provide some of the shot blocking and mobile pick and role defense we're missing while still being a post scoring threat.

Interesting point. The only way this is a part of our equation is if Al and Hendo opt out.
