Aboubakar

How has he looked for you guys? Gladbach were linked to him last summer and he seemed an interesting option. Looked to have a good nose for goal with great speed, kinda like Aubameyang.

Well, he is the backup for Jackson. (Jackson is out for a month - injury).
Yersterday he was amazing, Has not had many opportunities this season, but he is young (23 yo), last year he was the 2º best scorer in french league.
And Jackson will probably be transferred this next summer.
So, he is the future striker for Porto.

He is fast, strong physically with a great shot...
A little bit clumsy.

I hope it will be an exciting one... definitely the 2nd best profile matchup.

I'm going with Chelsea, might even go PKs... I wouldn't want that cuz I rather see scoring from Ibra n Cavani but I can see this going to PKs... then its Chelsea to lose IMO.

If Chelsea ain't getting Bonuses unless they win CL, that should be motivation enough for them...

lol psg players have a 200K win bonus just for going through tonight. They need cavani to show up at the bridge finally... can't fall apart there again and get eliminated for what the 3rd time?

PSG should be favorites given how thoroughly they were able to control Chelsea in the first leg, but I can't not bet on Mou here. Thinking chelsea steal this one and advance.

I don't judge him based on the statistics even though they look good pretty good. Given the fact that he plays at Bundesliga as a #10, obviously his stats are a bit overrated. However, Calhanoglu is definitely a good player probably better fit for RM than James Rodriguez if that's the reason you are asking for. For our national team, he was the left winger of 4-2-3-1 and he played some great football for us. So if Ronaldo or Bale leaves, he might be a great option to pick up for RM.
i thought James was a great fit this year (injury aside).
I'm impressed with Calhanoglu to be honest, but aside from an improbable Bale move (we won't sell cheap having bought for so much less than 2 years ago), I doubt we move for him.
Only asking because Barca are reportedly interested, and I know how much you love them :D he doesn't seem interested in the move though, and I don't blame him. Can't see a CAM/LW spot on a team with Neymar/Suarez/Messi/Iniesta.

Cristiano Ronaldo was visibly faster and better than anyone else. I wonder why Real Madrid didn't try to get him the ball more often.

they were but the game isnt really that easy, this is where you can see Madrid really missing an in form Modric and especially James. its why you see them crossing the ball so much now, they just hope to get it into ronaldo and hope he produces magic, which he did twice fortunately for them.

I enjoyed watching the teams run down the field once they got the ball on a fastbreak instead of playing conservatively. It was entertaining.

most newcomers to soccer say this since they dont understand the game yet, it will change as you watch more hopefully.

What do you think about my opinions? They're probably really stupid.

you shouldnt call them stupid, its ignorance. i think this was a great game to catch if you dont watch soccer much, lots of goals and pretty entertaining. keep watching the CL its the best teams in the world.

Calhanoglu? The only truly great thing in his game are free kicks/long distance shots. Other than that he still has lots of room to improve. Definitely not Real caliber yet and probably not for another few years of development.

Bale gets injured, Madrid win every game by 3 goals.

James goes out, they go in crisis mode lol. I know there's more to it, still funny.

Hope Carlo does the right thing and bench Bale when James comes back.

Let's go Chelsea. No conceding today please

Didn't really watch the replay, but it looked like the right call. I hate the double punishment red card + penalty, though.
