it's to get them to the salary floor spending as little money as possible (since they only have to pay 2 months of their salary but the whole season counts to the floor)

I understand their reasoning, just feel bad for all the guys getting cut, and then go to Siberia after being cut. That's just mean.

I really would love to get paid to not work

In the last two weeks, Utah has beaten Memphis, Portland and San Antonio, all by at least 9, and Gobert has averaged about 15 boards a game (didn't even check blocks). Hayward, Favors, Gobert...not a bad young core.....and then you still have Exum who could turn into something.

Utah now has a better core than we do. Honestly we need to hand out pink slips.

We always sign guys a few days late. We could have used his offense in the last few games. Did the same thing with Baron, when we could have used him right after the trades.

LMAO Amare is not too happy in Dallas. Thinks its too late this time of his career to suddenly become a winner. Well if he was expecting to ride the coattails of Dirk and Co to a championship he better reconsiderhttp://basketball.realgm.com/ ... acceptable

I had just noticed that. If OKC and NO both finish hot and the Mavs continue playing at less than 500, it's not completely out of the question they could fall out.

Rondo destroyed Dallas.

I really thought Dallas was going to be a serious contender this year. It's unfortunate, I really like their team and the squad they've put together. It would be great if they could somehow get it together in the remaining games to make noise in playoffs. The post season is always more entertaining with evened out teams.

I thought Rondo would be great for them but they never addressed their rebounding issues.

Follow your own advice. Not everyone decides to stop being a fan a little over half way through a season. Nothing wrong with still caring about a team one is a fan of. After we traded a third of the team, an extra big would haven even helpful.

Does anyone else hope that Howard's return derails the Rockets?

So MCW with 28, 8, 4 and 4 steals. He did shoot 40% but got to the line 15 times and hit 80%. Not bad. I don't know if Philly got anything other than our pick in the deal, so I suppose we could have just traded that pick for him, and his rookie contract as opposed to Knight who is becoming a RFA and will be paid. Of course to get Knight we gave up more like Ennis, who had 6 pts 4 assists, 3 boards and a block tonight.

The thing is, I really like Knight, but I think those other teams ended up happy but also far better financially while getting younger.

I always thought Rondo would be a terrible fit for Dallas. Actually thought he would be a terrible fit for most teams in the Western Conference as we play a more uptempo style. Rondo would fit well with the likes of Memphis and maybe the Bulls. I hope he goes to the Lakers over the offseason.

I'm watching the Cavs and Spurs game... Bledsoe reminds me so much like Lebron. Same weaknesses. Same strengths.

We need to be a little more patient with Bledsoe and get some better players around him.
