I guess that tells you how closely I'm paying attention to Handegg now a days  Oh well, at least I still get to watch Eli-to-ODB happen next year.

As long as the Suh comes to the giants so they can fix the DL now that we know that JPP is broken for good, and if they get one more year to finish the OL rebuild; I'm sure the gmen would be willing to give Brady a third crack at eli :D

I'd kill for Eli and Coughlin to get a chance to retire with 3 SB wins over one of, if not the, greatest of all time.

One more question I have about eggball, though. How is Andrew Luck doing? I used to play football (or soccer how they call it here) against him when he was in Germany.

We were absolutely shocking today, really annoyed at how we couldn't get anything going even with PSG down to 10 men for 90 minutes and still managed to boss that midfield? Fabregas/Ramires/Oscar/Matic couldn't handle Veratti/Motta even when they had to go 4-4-1. You'd think a midfield with any 3 of Cesc/Ramires/Oscar/Matic would outrun and control a 2 man midfield no matter how good they are, but they were all pretty invisible throughout.

Veratti was incredible though, best player on the pitch by far. What a player he is, was really good against us on both legs.

Shocking loss but PSG deserve to go through, they were the better team through and through. Jose messed this up, we should've won this game and despite how bad we were leading on 2 separate occasions needing to close the game our biggest weakness this season (finishing off games) has reared its ugly head again.

Pretty great, he'll be in the conversation for best in the league for many many years and is getting ever closer to that level. His team still needed a lot of work around him last year, but that can change fast in american football and he seems to have a lot more of a knack for the postseason than the last Colts QB (Peyton Manning)...that said, he's no Johnny Unitas either (Unitas was Eli Manning before Eli Manning; not the most dominant by any stretch, but by far the most clutch and best in crunchtime in his era). But Lucks looks well on his way to a HoF career whether he struggles in the postseason or tears it up, as long as things keep going like they have been and he stays healthy.

Matic is one of the best DM around. Fabregas is one of the best CM around. Mourinho isn't doing these two guys (and Hazard, too btw.) a favour with his completely destructive game approach.

Good thing he chose eggball then. He wasn't going to earn a lot of money playing soccer.

Idk about that.

why not? they have plenty of talent, not that i think they can win it all but they are certainly a legit team to be afraid of this year. if Cavani could **** finish they would be so much more dangerous.

Pastore is class, hes become underrated since hes always hurt.

Oscar was the one providing balance to the midfield when Matic-Fabregas pairing was working well, but both he and Fabregas are having their usual second-half-of-the-season slumps. It didn't help that Oscar had to be an idiot and get himself a ridiculous yellow.

Also, with Matic, Fabregas, JT and Cahill, there's very little speed which is why it's so hard to play higher up the pitch against good sides; Azpi has to cover for all of them every time. Zouma looks promising at CB but I think we need another athletic midfielder who's hopefully more polished than Ramires. Praying Loftus-Cheek can get his chance but who am I kidding

you played soccer against Andrew Luck? Dude is on his way to becoming the best quarterback in the league. Already top 3. My Colts just had an amazing day today signing Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, and a few defensive players. Luck's Superbowl ring is coming next season or the season after.

i actually thought he was awful in the first half, kept giving the ball away and wasnt really doing much in possession. gave away the ball right outside the box a few times too. did better in the second half at least. first leg he was world class though.

First leg he was better but IMO he played great today too. Was a joy to watch, and for a while in the 2nd half him and Motta totally were controlling the game. Wonder when he will get a real chance to start for Italy

Yup agreed, Jose should've gone for the kill instead of trying to see it out especially when they went down to 10 men. As been proven many times this season we're just not that good at seeing games through.

I thought he did OK in the first half, but in the 2nd he was all over the pitch especially defensively, he just kept harassing whoever had the ball, he might not have done anything of note with the ball a lot but when he did he was clever with it. But I was more impressed at how active defensively he was, he won the ball so many times for PSG and really helped the 3 in the Chelsea midfield do absolutely nothing

Agreed, not a lot on the market though especially one who can come cheap.

Let's hope we can wrap up the title early so RLC can get some games, this defeat should surely help

Jup. I don't know him personally, though.
A friend of mine played on the same team with him for a while. And we always played against his team every year...so I must've played against him a couple times.

Do you remember how Chelsea won the Champions league ?

That wasn't 'luck' though...

Do you remember when they got bounced by Barca?

Messi and Robben both missing penalties that would knock them out isn't luck? If that Chelsea CL win wasn't lucky, then no team has ever won anything in football with luck.

It's fair to complain about the flow of the game because Chelsea did not look good yesterday, but let's not forget that's not why they lost. They gave up one chance all game and conceded twice from set-pieces.
