If a team (city)that you never wanted to leave in the first place put $39 mil guaranteed in front of anyone you'd take it. Anyone that says other wise isn't being honest.

especially in football, where one play can end ur career.

this division can get pretty interesting with the bills, dolphins and jets adding several superstars

Disappointed as a Patriots fan, but I've never held it against players when they go get paid more elsewhere. Their careers are too short and the injury risk is too high, go get paid sir.

We're not talking about chump change either, we're talking millions of dollars. Millions.

Unless you're like Tom Brady who is married to someone who actually makes more or Manning who gets ridiculous amounts from endorsements, there's no reason for a guy to take less money.

That being said, while I don't think any less of guys who go after the big dollars, I do have major respect for guys who take less money to stay in a winning situation. I think it says a lot about their character.

If the Jets now get Mariota, I'm going to puke.

Such a weird legacy he will leave. He's gonna kill it in New York as always and Revis Island will be officially back. But he won't win one ring there. He's going to go down as one of the greatest cornerbacks of all time, and greatest jets of all time who won a ring with their arch rivals.

Thank you Revis for what you did, wish it coulda been longer! But you made the smart money choice.

The ultimate mercenary.

What are the odds he holds out for an extra $5-10 Mil during Camp?

NFC West laughs at that division. Bills are going to be great defensively but what's the ceiling for any of those teams without a quality QB?

whats interesting about the division will be to see how brady gonna pick those defenses apart. with the jets potentially adding cromartie aswell. It will not be easy for the pats to maintain #1 spot like they used to
