Anyone have any idea what Detroit plans to do with Reggie Jackson? Is he their guy or is he a rental? I wouldn't mind making a trade for Jennings in the offseason with part of our space. Expiring contract at around 8M especially if we strike out in free agency.

I think they'd rather have Reggie Jackson over Brandon Jennings at this point. I'm guessing this because of how Jennings was shopped around quite a bit this season
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust

We tried for Jennings right before they cut smith. Stan wanted to see how he did wi out Josh holding the ball, and it worked for Stan. Had Jennings not got injured they are a playoff team and probably don't trade for Jackson who is a over glorified no defense playing chucker

If Jennings actually can improve his layup and shooting below 10 FGA, he could be a decent facilitator for the Lakers. He is underrated right now, and his impact on that winning streak Pistons was huge.
