There have been a couple of S and LBs that they were sniffing at and they got outbid on. There are still a couple S that are undecided. But I'm also concerned about what is going on around the league. Graham to Seattle. Detroit getting Ngata. Bears getting Cutler :lol:

I'm going to stop talking now, because it seems like a lot of these rumors are bunk. Bears might still be in on some of these guys.

I have to disagree with your take it's disappointing to watch the Bears getting outbid. Spending a good chunk of your cap space within the first 3 hours of FA is never a good idea. Market inflates the first day and settles down later in the week. McCourty took less to stay with NE, but he is the only guy I would pay what the market set him at.

In all, I'm good with the Bears taking their time and signing guys to deals that work best for the team.

Hopefully they don't overspend but I like the Bears signing Royal. He would fill the void at KR/PR too. Smart choice by Pace.

I like McPhee and Royal will be good at the right price. I *pray* that Rolle is coming in for cheap. I see his addition as being good in terms of locker room leadership, but 32 is way too old to be paying him good money.

3 yrs 11.5 i believe which i don;'t think is bad because he's still pretty good.

Also read earlier we may show interest in Gold son if Love signs Conte and Gold son gets cut. That may have just been speculation but Fangio and Donatell made home a two time pro bowler in SF so it would make sense. But the buzz makes it seem like we will likely look to add another safety even though we just signed Rolle.
