Haven't seen a ton of highlights, but seems like he's not a great finisher. Great rebounder, though. I'm not sure he has the handles to buy the Lamar Odom comparison that draft sites like to throw around. Draft Net compares him to Aminu. His advanced numbers seem impressive, plus the fact he gets an assist, steal, and block per game...nice.

Not a great finisher now.. but he has the frame for filling out quite nicely and becoming a great finisher.

If we're lucky enough to keep the pick, it's going to be fascinating if we land in 3-5. I wonder if Randle will attend the workouts (do they ever do that? Put players together on the floor to see how they fit?)

Do you see Looney as being able to play SF?

Yes, of course.

DraftExpress's listed him as PF. That's awesome if we can find a dynamic forward to pair with Randle. I wondered why you wanted him so much lol

AK-47 minus the weakside help defense. More of a watcher/rebounder guy than leave his man to reject a shot.

Draft Express shows the Lakers with three first round picks; our own, New Orleans, and Houston's. Is this a mistake or did I miss something with the NO pick?

Because three picks would be awesome!

Lots of conference tourney games on today/at the moment. Catch Russell in action against Minnesota in the 2nd round of the Big Ten tournament in 10 minutes on ESPN2!

I think that's a mistake because I think that pick belongs to HOU. I'm warming up to Tyus with the HOU pick, hope it would be around 23-24.

Karl Towns
Julius Randle
Kobe Bryant
Jordan Clarkson
Tyus Jones

That would be a lineup I would love to watch next year. Great spacing, Kobe teaching young kids, chucking some games, let the kids chuck in some games, etc.

IIRC NOP's pick belong to Rockets.

Russell's shot looking flat ever since he jammed his left thumb. Tied at the half

Like the fact that Russell is not shying away from taking his usual looks from 3 even though he's missed a bunch in a row. Just made his first one there.

Minnesota climbed back into it. Ohio State needs to put the ball in Russell's hands more.

That's game. OSU wins 79-73. Russell with a clutch 3 down the stretch, finished with 23/5/4, a steal, and 3 blocks. They play Michigan State tomorrow in the next round of the Big Ten Tourney
