Despite the blowout hes having a bad defensive 2nd half so far too. Just very little impact or fight there. Late on rotations. Lost his man for a lob. I see him lose his man all the time when I watch him. Either that or he gets caught solely watching/sticking to his man when he should be helping. Doesnt contest or box out hard enough when he should be throwin fools around down there. His defensive instincts are lacking, but you just need to hope they can be fixed.

But hey its 2 pts all day if he has the ball near the basket like he just did. No arguing there and that will always have value.

Jah needs to learn to take that extra step when he makes his post moves. A lot of his moves are off balance, but they go in because of the footwork and his nice touch. FG% would go up a good amount once he learns to square up properly out of his move.

If the Hornets were able to build a top defensive team last season with Al Jefferson at C, then you could do the same if not better with Okafor. Although to be a contender in this set-up, I believe you would need the guard and forward positions to each have an elite defender and a two-way player. This is the reason I do not see an Okafor and Melo tandem leading us to the promised land. I am a huge Melo fan but I will not win any debates asserting that Melo’s post defense will be enough to mask Okafor’s lack of defensive anchoring skills. Furthermore, Melo’s perimeter defense is inconsistent and we would need three very good ones here under this scenario. I want to see Melo win a championship with us and the reason I am slightly leaning towards Towns is that it gives Melo a better shot at this imo. Again, I will be glad to be proven wrong.

Oh no, Draft Kings. Jones did quite well for himself and for me today. As far as the game goes, it was hard to stop Richardson. Probably one of the more slept on seniors in college.

Oooooh I thought you bet money on us. Jones always puts up numbers. Honestly though, I'm not a huge fan of his attitude -- complains a lot to refs and seems to have a diva attitude on the court. Granted, I haven't seen every game of theirs this season because I didn't think we'd go anywhere (and I've been busy), but I'm just not a huge fan. On the team though -- next year we'll make moves, hopefully. As long as DJ doesn't leave and everyone progresses (and Baldwin doesn't transfer because of Stallings being a **** coach / a dick), I think we'll be a top 25 team potentially.

Josh Richardson definitely gets slept on. Big guard who can get stronger. Needs to work on his jumper, though. Does a little bit of everything, but nothing that great.

Those shots will always be there for Russell. Would like to see him get easier looks. Penetrate more. Use those handles. No reason to settle for so many contested jumpers.

Russell not doing all that great but he usually has a strong second half. Would be a shame if Ohio State gets eliminated this early in the Big Ten tournament.

I can see why people like Russell , he has that eye for the court and the touch seems to be there, he could work great with Melo too I think..

Russ is very smart and skilled. Really whips his passes which I dig. Ive voiced some of my concerns with him enough but none of these top guys are perfect. You get some bigs who can defend and score inside a bit along with Melo and Russ and thats a start.
