Sometimes im like just be like the Spurs, then i think about how many years it took that core to get to the point where they are today i i understand you dont get there in one season.

Right now we are back to that Pau-centric offense due to all the injuries and when that happens the offense becomes real basic. Hopefully when everyone comes back we see more side to side movement. Jimmy and Derrick are our best slash and finish/kick guys, their return will open up alot more scoring opportunities.

I see too many bounce passes in general. Yes, it looks nice, but teams expect it. I've seen countless times this season where the Bulls will have 3 out of 5 possessions as turnovers because they are simply forcing the bounce pass when all they need is a chest pass or a pass over the top. Only guy who doesn't do this is MDJ and Rose. Rose's problem, however, is that he likes to jump in the air and pass, sometimes getting himself into too much trouble.

Noah is almost out of position on every pass he catches. Usually he's not squared up to the basket when he should be, and you can tell when he's going to look to cutters, and when he's going to try and score.

In the end, I do hope we package Noah and Gibson somewhere. Maybe Noah, Gibson, 2 protected 1sts for Demarcus? IDK.

We are middle of the pack with regards to turnovers, definitely not good for a team with championship hopes, but i would say acceptable, with alle injuries we had. What is aggravating the situation is that we are dead last at producing turnovers.

We need to get back to the fundamentals and excel at it.

Definitely over-passing and that leads to more turnovers. I think the reason they over-pass is because defenses don't respect their ability to create shots without Rose and Butler so they just smother the guys on defense. Only guys who can create are Mirotic, Gasol and Brooks but they are average at best at doing it.

Smarter passing overall is what the Bulls need.

They force the entry pass to the low post either too late or in a bad spot.

Brooks passes the ball way too low for some of the bigger guys to handle or makes too many unexpected passes.

Mirotic is a good passer, but sometimes overpasses when he had the best look for a shot in sequence. He should go up with it without hesitation if he has enough space too. It would help out his pump fake too because defenders would have to honor his quick release.

The fast break passing and spacing needs to be much better. 3 on 1 fast breaks should be an east bucket 95% of the time.

I thought this was a thread on a Spurs forum.

Yes, we're overpassing because we don't have enough offensive talent.

We are doing a lot of stupid things with minimal talent. WE have to capitalize on each possession we have as we are severely limited with our current active roster. No good signs heading into the final stretch, not to mention the front office has done nothing to alleviate the bleeding.

take the open shot, not gonna find any team mate with a better one than yours. If youre open shoot it.

hinrich s'not gonna magicly create for him self with 3 seconds left on the clock. neither will noah. take your open shot which was created for you ...

cant stand seeing mc dermott open 1 meter behind the three point line and having hinrich taking an off the dribble pull up. everytime ... just kill me now ...

Id rater have mcdermott shoot semi open threes then anything hinrich has to offer. let him hoist 20, cant be worse then those effing hail maries!
