Curry would be amazing in a Hornets uniform. And I think there is a good chance that it happens.

If they opt out, I'm going HARD after Lamarcus Aldridge first. Someone like Zeller shouldn't get in the way of that kind of pickup. I want the mobile power forward version of Big Al.

If we miss out on Aldridge, then I agree we should go after his teammate Matthews.

I agree Aldridge would be great, but I was responding to the talk about filling the sg spot

Actually my DREAM scenario would be to sign Matthew or Butler to play SG. Resign Mo Williams for a couple years till Curry is available. Then have Anthony Davis want to play with his buddy (MKG) from college. Pelicans realize he isn't resigning there, and after 2015/2016 season we send a package involving Kemba, Zeller, and 2017 1st round pick to get Davis to Charlotte. Then have Curry sign with the Hornets as a free agent.

Curry / Mo
Matthews or Butler / Hairston
MKG / ???
Davis / Vonleh
Biz / ???

Aldridge isn't going anywhere.

I like the idea of trying to get Gallo for a bargain. If he regained prior form he'd be a coup and a good Pf next to Biz.

With our luck Gallo's legs would fall off if we signed him.

Gallo was pretty overrated even before the knee issues. Unless we could get him for Marvin and 2 2nds, pass.

  :-? :-? Here's an off season suggestion we could do to free up cap space to resign Mo Williams and add scoring.

No way Boston makes that move. Turner has been good for them. They would want a pick in addition.

At this point I'm fine with keeping lance unless the trade gets makes us noticeably better. He's technically an expiring next year.

he's actually started playing well recently, I don't think you can get him for a bargain.

 :meditate: :meditate: The reason of the trade for Turner is that Boston( and maybe Philly) have excess cap space. Adding a 3 point scorer (career .321) and solid backup at 3 helps us and gives us money to sign Mo. I might include JT in the trade but not a draft pick. If Lance continues playing like he has the last 3 games his value will go up...Mo is the player we want to keep and we must have cap space to sign him.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
