I have my wish player in this years draft, I think this kid would fit right into what we do as a team. Thoughts

Would be a huge upgrade over Pero...wouldn't mind him at all. Hopefully we can pick up a quality wing or center in the draft.

Supposedly he is a bit of a flake off the court. That could fit into our team or not - really could go either way. Scott is a flake but the guys seem to like him, but sometimes flakes can just rub people the wrong way and all those eccentricities that come with being a flake just continue to wear on people. Also, too many flakes can be a problem too.

Honestly, any one of those 3rd tier guys would be great @ 8/9 IMO: Prozingis, WCS, Hezonja, S Johnson, Winslow, Oubre, Turner. As long as we don't draft Looney (good player - just don't want another PF) or get cute and go off consensus annd decide that Kaminsky is our great white hope then I couldn't complain much about who we get. FTR, at 8/9, I think my fave today would be Winslow but tomorrow that could change...

With one big caveat, he can't really shoot...which screws with spacing for the hawks, as my understanding of the offensive scheme is that all 5 players on the floor must be credible threats on the perimeter, which WCS most certainly isn't.

I don't think he is an accurate enough shooter for Bud's system. Not as a starter at least. If Bud is making our draft picks this year, I doubt we draft him.

I understand it doesn't help spacing but it does help in rebounding(which were bottom of league) as well as rim protection. Anybody is an upgrade over Pero at this point...I think we'd be ok with WCS at the 5 even though he doesn't stretch the floor.

He reminds me of Noah and Plumlee. 7 footer who has good feet and loves to hustle.

I think Will is a good pick up at #14-#16, but if the Hawks get a top 10 pick, i think they can do better than Will.

1. Okafor
2. Towns
3a. Russell
3b. Mudiay
5. Turner
6. Stanley Johnson
7. Winslow
8. Porzingis
9. Justin Anderson
10. Kevon Looney
11. Willie Cauley-Stein
