I actually think this would work with some of our guys. They've proven they CAN defend, but won't.

I agree and am quite shocked every time we help and i know why we do it. Casey is like an advertisement..he wants his system run regardless..he wants the scrambling the over helping the switching..he loves it..it's him..he created it. He is that guy who refuses to use a computer because that's not what they did in his day. Amir vs Aldridge.. run him one on one... just do it. Is Aldridge really gonna abuse him every possesion and are they really gonna keep going to him? If he does then great work, Amir you are done ride the bench. Next up. This forces guys to dig in and play their heart out.. You get beat there is no help and you look like a fool.

JV isn't guarding Lilliard and Affalo and getting blown by. Your hate for JV is getting annoying.

We made run when JV was on the bench, as soon as he comes in Portland makes run and we are down by 8 .... JV is handicaps this team at the defensive end, remove him and they play much better D. Lowry has always been solid defender, everybody was on Ross bandwagon as elite defender last year ...

Did you even watch the game? JV went to the bench, down by 2, ppat comes on we went down by like 11, Hans replaces Amir then 9-0 run came from like , PPat three, Vasquez 3, Lou 3 (foul'd) all in sequence.

The defensive regression is simple, at one point Ross and Lowry could guard guys on the perimeter, and now they can't. It's that simple.

He played 14minutes ... -13 ... Hansborough comes in we go on 9 -0 run and we are up by one, JV comes in we go down by 8 at the half ... Also last game we played great team defense, allot of movement.. this game totally the opposite .. Blame Casey or Lowry or Ross or Demar ... but the #1 problem with Raptor defense is JV ...

That might work in grade 9 basketball. But good idea I'll tell casey were not gonna play help defense if Lebron beats ya 1v1. And screw doubling Dwight Howard in the post! Jonas can yell in Lithuanian to distract him from the wide open dunk.

We aren't facing lebron.. we have **** aldridge and lillard plus shooters.. put amir on aldridge the whole game and don't move off him..no1 help..go one on one. The reason Lebron is effective his defences collapse when he beats his man..open 3's all over. How do you beat miami Lebron? give Lebron space..stay in front. He beats you with 30 jumpers in a row then great. The spurs put leonard on him and gaurded him..and this is lebron..we aren't facing any lebron calibre player.
