Game 68: New York Knicks (13-52) @ Phoenix Suns (34-33)

I didn't watch much of the second half, but looking at the box score, it looks pretty good. Marcus played well, and Wright played REALLY well. And Bledsoe looks like he had a great game. 11 assists to 3 turnovers and almost a triple double. Obviously it was against probably the worst team in the league but I don't know if you can complain too much considering Archie and Warren both got a decent amount of time. I'd rather Warren get more, but he is still a rookie...I just hope the twins don't stop him. Perhaps the twins should play mostly together and let Warren play with others. I worry a little bit about Kieff, if playing with Warren, not getting him involved as much as he otherwise might because he is vested in his bro getting minutes.

Warren hustles, boards, plays well without the ball, is very efficient and still doesn't get minutes. I guess Hornacek is in the can't trust the young guys stage in his career until he doesn't have a choice

Brandon Knight is very close. I would love to see TJ get some opportunities to go to work in the post and iso's to see if he could be that type of guy.

Morris x 2 are being put in the shop window.
Wright is showing what he can do with us,
Bledsoe as the dominant guard, we can assess his ceiling without any other high level guard.
Warren and Goodwin getting more time.

Why's that? 7/5/4 is pretty decent for him tonight.

3/10 shooting will improve.. Westbrook, Lebron, Wade, even Durant were "average" shooters (FG% wise) and improved as the years went by... Archie as a 45% shooter is not out of the realm of possibilities.
Im not saying Archie is a star like them (he has some traits though), but basically my point is.. his FG% should improve as he develops.

His passing, overall facilitating game improving is a sign of GOOD things.

Agreed, not to mention the fact that he had 3 steals as well. He has done an admiral job playing the back up pg position. I figured he would be like Barbosa and just put his head down, drive to the basket, and ignore teammates, but he is making an effort to get others involved.

7,5,4, and 3 in 22 minutes from a 20 year old, who is getting his first real shot at consistent minutes, and playing out of position, is nothing to complain about. Seriously, how can there be Suns fans "losing faith" in him? He has just barley started getting time in the rotation, show some patience.

Because there has to be at least four to five of either players, coaches, owners, or front office people on the fans sh*t list at all times.

Only four or five? There seems to only be three to four players the usual suspects here care about, even if they get arrested.

Speaking from my point of view, these are the tiers of Suns players in terms of how I value them.

The "I care about" list, part of the future core or atleast brings optimism to the future.
- Alex Len - Franchise starting center for years to come (assuming no injuries)
- Archie Goodwin - Showing new things on the court that gives me hope he isnt just a scorer, huge potential still.
- Eric Bledsoe - Would have 5+ triple doubles had he gotten that extra assists or rebound... good player
- Brandon Knight - His rate of improvement is intriguing enough to roll the dice with him until you know if he is a star indeed.
- Brandon Wright - good backup, but concerned he will be expensive.
- TJ Warren
- PJ Tucker - When he's not missing team the team bus.
*Bogdan Bogdanovic - worth getting excited about
*Reggie Bullock - has shot well in D-league, should be getting minutes, but too many SGs and SFs at the moment.

The No-care, but good luck to them list
- Gerald Green - Has regressed a lot lately, better off on a contending team looking for scoring burst
- Marcus Thornton - See Gerald Green
- Danny Granger - hasnt played a minute, dont know enough, dont care at this point
- Earl Barron - 3rd string center, not a bad option when injuries are an issue, but easily replaceable.



The better off traded *assuming they can NET a good return
- Marcus Morris - Higher ceiling players playing below him + he seems to be a headcase/unlikeable on/off the court
- Markieff Morris - Good 6th man due to his mid range and offensive skills, but will likely POUT without his twin or if his twin is benched.
