Why not? We're likely going to finish .500 after being predicted dead last by tons of people.

Tell it to them coach, I've got you out there to fricken shoot the ball.
Exactly what is needed to teach that rookie hood and he is better for it, the results are quite clear, hood was shooting lights out today. Absolutely beautiful

Yup he's telling Exum the same, to be more aggressive. These kids are playing their heart out, they play more like vets lately than like rookies. :-)

We had to make a decision about Kanter at the trade deadline and possibly again at the end of the year. We absolutely needed to know if the potential in Kanter would ever bear out. Gobert wasn't as time sensitive.

What does this mean?

His team is the youngest in the NBA playing in the WEST. Predicted to be the worst. His record is just fine, especially since hes shown he's made the right adjustements, and the team is playing wayyyyyyy better.

Also playing some of the best defense in the NBA, #1 or #2 actually.

I'd say his "record" is good enough.

I think he means his record isn't good enough to win COTY, which I pretty much agree with. If Hornaceck couldn't win it last year, I don't think Snyder can win it this year.

Especially when Bud and Kerr are doing such great things with their teams.

COY is a terrible award. Guys like Sloan never win and most of the guys who win are fired the next year.

I'll pass.

He better tell Exum that he might bring Teodosic if he can't play, if that wouldn't move Dante's ass to work on his game hard then I don't know what will.

Most years he'd be a good candidate for COTY. Just like most years Kerr would win it. But this year I don't see how anyone other than Budenholzer can win. Pretty much as sure as Wiggins for ROTY.
