Lin and Wesley are the best tank closers.

That's so unfair. Lin did great things in the 4th and in case some weren't paying attention, Curry had 7 TOs in this game. Wes had a brain fart at the end but unfortunately, that seems to be a constant for him.

We came dangerously close to winning that one.
I really do like the fact that we gave GSW everything it could handle.
Probably made Kerr mess up in his pants. Always a good thing.

Go Lakers!!!

The thing is, it was a very competitive game on national TV. And I think there were a lot of surprises in this game that weren't expected. It was a better game than the Cleveland/Miami game where Cleveland and LeBron laid an egg.

I don't think that last play has to do with IQ ( though he does have issues in other areas of the game with it ), he just lost his dribble. A lot of that is nerves, not use to getting the ball in closing seconds with pressure to deliver and not being a guy that's a clutch shot maker. Wes had the classic look of a rattled guy in that situation.

Certain guys here keep harping about how the team is horrible defensively as last seasons ( like we don't know that ) but what goes over guys heads is that if you have any type of basketball acumen, you can see what they're trying to get done.

Yeah we're losing a lot, but for the most part they've competed and just lost out at the end of games. Better than getting your ass waxed in a blow out like somebody else's teams use to get done.

Looking long term we got some guys here worth keeping if finances are right, and some we can let go but it's not personal. Power forward will be an position of interest. Davis ,Black, Kelly, Hill are question marks for me. Seeing as Julius is coming back, I don't won't to see these guys eating minutes. Let's throw Julius in the fire just like JC and go from there. If any one of those guys are brought back then his minutes will have to be reduced greatly in favor of Julius.

But overall we did good, competed and preserved the pick...can't ask for more than that. 16 games to go.

Agreed. This is a 30-35 win team if we're putting our best foot forward. Takeaway any elite team's top two stars and we'll match up with any of them.

The nice thing about Julius is his versatility. He can be an effective SF in my opinion.

been saying this since november also. im totally against tanking but i want to keep the pick at the same time. deliberately losing games is just awful. but this team didnt seem like they were. we really just lack talent. im very pleased at the effort. at least we can say the pick was well deserved.

He also switched the ball to his right hand where it could be swiped at, when pushing a few more steps with his left might have got him by. Just not the strongest handles.
