Korver, Thabo, Scott all out

Post#1 » by azuresou1 » Mon Mar 16, 2015 4:17 am

Doesn't bode well for us short term - serious lack of coverage at the 2/3 now. Expect to see lots of 3 guard sets.

Depth chart:
Teague/Dennis/Mack
Bazemore/Jenkins
DeMarre/Daye/Eddie
Millsap/Muscala
Al/Antic/Brand

Thabo should be back shortly. This is the beauty of already having the first seed all but locked up, these guys can take their time to recover.

Korver and thabo should be playing by sunday at the latest. I hope we can have at least 1 of the 2 for the gsw and okc games.

Thabo sat in on the telecast in a game last week and said he would be back towards the end of this road trip or shortly after. Sounds like he will be back this week or next.

I would be fine with that. Better to be safe than sorry. Like you said, especially with the rash of injuries lately.

I think we've missed thabo way more than people realize. His size and d help us so much. I hope he only comes back when he's feeling well and healthy as I think he will be a big piece come playoff time.

Obviously I don't want to rush Thabo back but it'll be nice if he can play some regular season games just to get back in the flow before we go into the playoffs.

I agree, gotta get your sea legs back. You want to know he's got his conditioning and also that he has confidence in his calf and thus doesn't play tentatively.

This especially rings true with Thabo. He seems to be notorious for needing time to get his shot warmed up. It would be nice if he can get a good 3 weeks of play in before the playoffs begin.

At this point, as long as we are healthy for the playoffs I'm happy
