 :x :x :banghead: :vent: :violin: :rofl2: ITs Simply to fix nights when the other team doubles our score in the 1st quarter and we are behind....Bench Al and Kemba..insert BIZ/Lance...RUN. Leaving AL on the floor hurts us when he is having an off night.
Otherwise we are going to have nights when we are 45 points down like this one. IF we lose all these games on this road trip, our playoff chances for this year are over. Watching Cliffords post game comments, when we lose, signals that MJ probably has told everybody that the Hornets MUST make the playoffs or this team, the coaching staff, scouts, and management will be changed dramatically?

Such a likable guy, though, you just feel bad for hating on him.

Before the ink dried on his contract. Dude is garbage, I don't care how nice he is.

Slow day at work so just got done speed watching the game. Utah had some flukey good perimeter shooting this game. Starting off like 12 - 13 from three isn't all on us.

Our real problem was our offense, not our defense. Halfway through the third quarter we had 34 points. They had 71, which is obviously really good but not so amazing that we shouldn't have been in the game.

The first half was the worst half from Kemba I've ever seen. Zero energy on defense and gave us nothing on offense. Roberts on his average night would have been a step up from what Kemba brought.

That first half might also have been the worst half from MKG I've seen. He missed some easy buckets, but the real problem was letting Hayward get free several times, both on the perimeter and in the lane. He got killed everytime he went under a screen when he was guarding Hayward, I'm not sure why he didn't start fighting through them. Maybe we were terrified of Gobert getting lobs if we gave Hayward driving lanes that required help, but going under screens just did not work.

I honestly think Al was by far our best player in this game. I am not sure we scored a single field goal when Al was not on the floor in the first half. All of Utah's damage was from the perimeter in situations where Al wasn't involved in the play. Al did not give up any open drives and did fine on the boards. Gobert had some gaudy rebounding numbers, but that'll happen when we shoot like 20%. Gobert was a pretty easy matchup for Al honestly. He doesn't do anything on offense, and he isn't physical or big enough to push Al around on the boards or when Al gets on the block. His length obviously made it harder for Al, but by no means was Gobert anywhere close to the reason that we got blown out of this game.

I'm thinking when Cliff called out guys after the game, he was talking about Hendo and Kemba. They were miserable.

Did not realize that we have not won in Utah since 2006. Man, and I like to make fun of Toronto for not winning in Charlotte...
