OT: Tournament Challenge?

Hey guys, the tourney starts soon enough and though I don't really know college ball, it is still fun to play with a bracket.

I just saw you can rejoin the group Realgm Bulls Board from last year, so that's easy.

It's the group created by JDRochholz on ESPN, anyone else wants to join again?

JD is it okay for you if we use that group again?

I'm seeing less interest in this everywhere this year. Kentucky is so dom and the brackets don't allow for a UK/WIS final like most seem to suspect.

I'm not going Jay Williams different, but making some picks I would not normally make....

What I did was log into my ESPN account (which I haven't used since last year's tourney) and then clicked on the link on the front page about entering the challenge. (I think the choices it gave were "GET STARTED" or "log into ESPN." I chose "log in.") After doing that it gave me the chance to fill out a bracket and since I was in the group last year it was already linked to my account. I just joined it again and used the password from last year.

The group ID = 65959
The password = thereturn

So far, my bracket - based on the simple strategy of picking the higher ranked team in every game - is doing better than any of yours. :lol:

Every year for the previous 4 or 5 years I've done this very thing as a second bracket, and almost every year that by-the-numbers bracket wins or is near the top. In a small pool that doesn't give any reward for picking upsets, that's the way to go. This year I was too busy-- only entered my "not-by-the-numbers" picks-- and the straightforward method is doing gangbusters. At least you're keeping the strategy alive. Good on ya!
