Anyone watching the First Four games? BYU is putting on a clinic how to run a Motion offense. Shooting lights out from downtown as well. They're one of my sleepers for the tourney.

Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Damn... that didn't last lol.
What a comeback from Ole Miss from down 17!
That team plays really hard, they even took the almighty undefeated Kentucky to OT 2 months back.

Both of these teams were really underranked & I had the winner taking out Xavier this weekend either way.

I know lol. I had them going to the Sweet 16 too. Their win against Gonzaga was really impressive and they kept it pretty competitive in the WCC championship game. But now I have to readjust my bracket. Sucks because they were a fun team to watch.

Are there live games on the Internet? I remember watching them on their site, but not sure if it gets geo-blocked.

No school that Hoffa attended is a sleeper for anything.

College basketball sucks but I may watch a couple games so I can get a feel for some of the prospects that intrigue me.

I only have two words to say:

TEXAS FIGHT

PS: If you're interested in seeing and NBA-sized front line, watch the Texas game to see the trees we have defend the bucket. Also, Miles Turner and Isaiah Taylor are both projected to go within the first 20 picks of this year's draft (if they come out).

Yeah, Texas was playing like a Final 4 team early in the season. Then they just started losing like mad lol.

Haha yeah. They've regained some momentum recently (narrowly losing to Kansas on the road, beating Baylor, losing to Iowa State, who ran the Big 12 Tournament, on a buzzer beater), so I'm hoping it carries over. I've been hoping the gauntlet that was the Big 12 this year (most competitive conference in the last 3+ decades other than the 05 Big 12) pays dividends come this time of year!

Edit: Truth be told though, we have an awful coach. If a game comes down to coaching adjustments and game management we'll lose. I can't decide who I think is a worse coach, Casey or Barnes. (Ex. We had Miles Turner play 10 minutes and only a minute or two in the second half against Iowa State. Turner is a sure fire lottery pick.........)

I watched a lot of Texas the year they had Durant, and the year they had Tristan Thompson, and I always came away disgusted with Barnes.

I'm partly in the same boat. Didn't have them going to the Sweet 16, but had them beating Xavier in the 1st round. Now my ESPN Tourney Challenge bracket automatically has Ole Miss beating Xavier because it doesn't actually let you choose which of the first 4 move on. Oh well, go Ole Miss!

I had the winner of BYU/Ole Miss beating Xavier either way lol... I think Xavier is overranked & I don't think their team is a tournament team this year at all. Moody will have his way with their inferior guards.

Again....leave this negativity out of here please. The NBA has been changing their rules too.. I guess they know their product sucks too by your logic.
How were the rule changes more like the NBA? They stopped rewarding secondary defenders for trying to take a flop rather than challenge the defender.. something the NBA doesn't really address. They also discussed FEWER timeouts... opposite of what the NBA has been doing (more timeouts). They're trying to go for no live-ball timeouts... way more like FIBA & not like NBA at all... they even opposed the NBA's crappy inconsistent "continuation" calls.
...I pretty much ignore the NBA during March Madness... since the last month of the NBA is usually a lull until the playoffs (82 games in the season, teams resting, etc... give me the NCAA March Madness with every game being an elimination game over that for a good break please)

Oh and FIBA rules >>> NBA rules... NBA rules are designed for Western fans who love superstar play over team play.. so that's an unfortunate thing.

Anyways.. not gonna keep this rant going. Hardcore basketball fans can appreciate any the collegiate level, especially if they've played at the HS/local college level themselves.

Carry on & go to another topic if you're not into college basketball.

Kentucky is going to win, but man I hate Calipari. Hoping for Wisconsin, Arizona, Villanova, or even (gulp) Duke!
