I think Adam Silver is a lot more of a laissez-faire leader than David Stern.

This commissioner hasn't addressed coaches throwing games.

Utah's starting backcourt didn't make a field goal last night.

Context... but they still won. 80-73

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400579311

Best defense in the league right now.

And they still got up 25 three attempts shooting 36%

They get GSW next. Lets see what that defense does against them.

The Hawks aka Spurs East are getting blown at home to the real thing.

Coach Bud got ejected vs. his old team as well.

Don't know how the Spurs lost to the Knicks last week.

LeTravel also just went crazy to get the Cavs over the hump vs. the Bucks. Milwaukee might fall to 7th if they don't get their shid together.

Ersan has been on fire lately. Over his last 5 games he is averaging 21 ppg shooting 55%, 56% from 3.

Pop is really giving Kawhi the green light, another 20 point game from the kid. And his post game is impressive.

Warriors got another gear and comeback from 17 to beat the Clippers in LA

Brook Lopez is willing the Nets to a playoff spot right now

Warriors are smacking teams around. It's unfair

They spotted the Clips 17 point lead in their house (mind you with no Draymond Green), then turned it on in the 3rd quarter and completely took control of the game.

Blake and CP3 were trying their hardest , but there's nothing you can do when the other team has like 4-5+ guys all on fire.

True, I also think Deandre Jordan looked exhausted as the game progressed and became invisible down the stretch.

I was coming here to post that stat line as well. That's an incredible triple double and it's nice to see him passing some more. That said, he was 11-25 from the floor, 2-6 from the line, had 5 turnovers and the 2nd worst on/off score of the starting lineup. It wasn't a very efficient game. I don't know whether to blame Cousins, his coach, or his teammates, but it would be nice to see him trim back his usage rate a bit and score more efficiently. Instead of 24 points per game with a TS% around .540, I'd like to see 21 points with a TS% around .600. But I'm splitting hairs. Dude is definitely a beast.

How about Chicago dropping a game agains the Bucks last night.

Chicago has a pretty soft schedule to close out the season, but they play four of their final seven games on the road with a mix of opponents playing for playoff seeding and loose young teams with nothing to play for.

vs. Pistons, @Cavs, @Magic, @Heat, vs. 76ers, @Nets, vs. Hawks

Chicago swept the series against the Raptors but with Toronto winning their division they'd earn the tiebreaker over the Bulls..

I'd certainly prefer a rematch of last season over the Wizards having to play Toronto, are Raptors going to keep their lead over their remaining games?

@Nets, vs. Celtics, @Hornets, @Magic, @Heat, @Celtics, vs. Hornets.

The Pistons have beaten Chicago two out of three games so far this season, this game could have huge playoff implications.

Man, Tristan Thompson fitting nicely in his role with the new Cleveland roster.

He fits well in the slot they have for him.

Since when is 44% Fg ineffecient?

Five turnovers... with 10 assists is a 2:1 ratio, something a PG should strive for. Haters gonna hate. :)

I guess you're going to hate his line tonight.

Back-to-back triple doubles and three consecutive 20/20 games:

24 points, 20 rebounds, 13 assists (another career high), 4 blocks, 1 steal.

Anthony Davis and Omer Asik were on the other team.

Boogie Cousins is a beast!

Remember when I said Cousins is better than Wall?

Winsome Gerbil wrote:Here's back to to back tweets from ESPN stats that explain why I've always been such a big Cousins guy:

DeMarcus Cousins had his 2nd straight game with 20 pts, 15 reb & 10 ast. Last player to do that? Larry Bird in 1985 #ELIAS #BoogieLegend

ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo · 5m 5 minutes ago
Better yet, @boogiecousins had 20 pts, 20 reb & 10 ast in consecutive games. Only others ever to do THAT? Wilt and Elgin Baylor. #ELIAS

So yeah...Bird, Wilt, Elgin...that's the sort of company we are talking at a certain point. 20 years from now one of the names we'll still be talking about is going to be Cousins.

Forget about Wall and Cousins being teammates any time soon. Neither will be traded in the next 5 years.

Yeah agreed CCJ. Cousins is an insane talent those 20/20 games with 8+ assists are random prime Shaq games.

He will eventually demand a trade though.

I agree he's skilled, but looking at his shot charts, not only this year but through his career, I don't understand why he takes so many shots away from the basket. I would think if he ended up on a team with a roster designed to maximize his skills (rather than just riding on his coattails), his scoring might go down a little but his efficiency could increase greatly. I've seen him get blocked a bit (don't know what the stats show), but he's otherwise nearly unstoppable physically down low, and has pretty good hands. Imagine him matched with a superior outside player like Wall, Westbrook, or especially Curry, surrounded by quality shooters.

They actually have perimeter shooters in Gay, McLemore, and Collison - not great but not horrible. Stauskas should be developing, and he's another shooter. They've had some injuries and lack some in depth, but they really should have the talent to win more games. Of course, changing coaches early in the season didn't help. And letting Thomas go took away their creative guard. At some point, they have to win games.
