pepe (coman) llorente tevez

Pepe has impressed me in those few games after he's been out for almost 2 years. I think with him, the 4-3-3 is a valid option.

Coman is going to be huge, at only 18 he has shown great personality and could be the next Pogba from a value surge point of view.

The 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield could also be an interesting option with the players you have ...

that is true, it's sure a pitty to leave out the likes of Asamoah (who actually used to play CM in Udine) and Marchisio. But with a long season they will sure have their good share of games too and imo the 4-3-3 is more exciting and unpredictable for opponents. Also not to underestimate that the team already has some experience with 4-3-3 as Conte used that tactics in his first year alot (and the players didn't change much since then). The only concern I have is with Tevez in that position. Not sure that fits him.

i don't think Allegri even knows which formation to go with yet. I guess the good thing is that they have options

Hey guys,

let that board live again.

Tough game for tomorrow. Dortmund gained some confidence after that little run in the league, plus they looked good the whole year playing cl. So I´m just hoping we won´t concede a goal. A 1-0 would be fantastic.

Our probable starting line up (4-3-1-2):

--------------------Buffon
Lichtsteiner-Bonucci-Chiellini-Evra
--------------------Pirlo
----------Marchisio-------Pogba
--------------------Vidal
---------------Tevez-Morata

Just happy, that Morata is starting since Nando isn´t looking that good the whole season. That speed will help us.

Can´t wait. Forza Juve 8-)

I have been so pleased with the way Morata is coming along. It took him a little while to settle in but now he looks great. Definitely deserves the start (Matri may even be able to pass Llorente at this point)

Obviously Juve can't concede at home, but Dortmund is not the kind of team you can sit back against for 90 minutes...they'll score sooner or later.
I'm optimistic but nervous as hell. Considering our experiences in Europe the past year and a half, I can't help but imagine how we may fall apart if we fall behind... I hope we've learned from our failures.

That was some ugly game. Dortmund got lucky to score the important away goal that was much needed.

Unlucky Giorgio. But it had to be him. He will always have those days (mostly on international stage), where he´s looking unlucky. Just like that red card against Madrid for fouling Ronaldo, which wasn´t really a hard foul.

Nevertheless, we didn´t allow much and I was quite pleased with the performance. Looking forward for the game in Dortmund. With that defense and piszczek maybe not being able to play, we just have to score another one or two goals. So I´m not really nervous about the second game.

yea I can't see them shutting us out. Thank God for Morata.

Pereyra came on and did well too.

Our striker situation kind of bugs me though. I hated that Allegri never gave Giovinco a chance and now he's gone anyway. Coman can't yet be thrown on into important CL matches...i know he's fast but he is thrown off the ball too easily, which is forgivable considering his age, but he needs time.

Llorente worries me. He is just slow and has looked lost lately. I'm so happy he got a goal over the weekend but it was luck honestly...and Matri I don't even think is healthy yet. He's had a decent season but when he was last on Juve he was kind of worthless aside from his first season (and that one Celtic game :))

I´m with you. Gio was one of my favourite players. Kinda sad how they treated him at the end not playing him and even harsher to send him away in winter just to save his salary...

Also agree with Coman. You just can´t throw him in in that situation. Almost conceded with his first situation. Just play him more in Serie A to learn to compete.

It seems that Llorente is just lost in that system. Last year there was a better connection with him and Tevez. This year it looks like, when playing together, Tevez is to far away from him (almost looking like tevez sometimes plays OM). He is always great when he is getting high balls to lay them down to the others. Think he would be great again, when we play 4-3-3. But with the results we´re getting in the 4-3-1-2, it won´t change.
Thinking about Matri, he won´t get that much playing time, when he´s fit again. Just came to replace Gio (which makes no real sense, since they´re completely different players). Maybe will get same playing time like Gio, so not much.

I'd love to see Zaza be our third striker in the mix behind Tevez/Morata. I really hate how Real have the right to buy Morata back after next season and the season after.

If Llorente continues to play like that, it could happen.
Found that quote about Morata

I know a lot can happen in the next years and Ancelotti may be not their coach anymore, but still encouraging. Also Real is rather going to buy that big name players and Alvaro seems to be happy and can decide if real want him back. So im not worried.

a win today would see Juve up 12 points on Roma... how fantastic that would be. However we are without Pirlo and Pogba, and Vidal may not be at 100%(not sure if he has been 100% all season)

maybe we see Sturaro off the bench for the first time today?

good win today. It's always tough vs a team that puts everyone behind the ball but still we didn't play well. But we have Pogba so it doesn't matter. He demonstrated once again why he's worth 100m and why we need to keep him anyway. On days when the squad is playing uninspired he can win us a game.

sucks that Caceres is out for the season now but today we got to welcome back Barzagli which is great. We really need another outside back this summer...hoping Torino will cough up Darmian to us

Yeah, Pogba can decide games, plus i like, that he got a yellow card, will have full energy for Dortmund.
To be honest, I don´t like how we are playing the latest games, just hoping they are already focussing on Dortmund.

Caceres always has bad luck, just when it looks like he can be a starter, he gets injured, hate it. You´re right, Darmian would solve so many problems as i don´t like, how Lichtsteiner is playing the last games, defensively he´s good, but offensively, he´s not that strong and his crosses aren´t the best. Darmian would be nice, but unfortunately I think, he will be too expensive.

For Dortmund, I would maybe go back to 3-5-2, if Barzagli is really ready for competition. Just play defensively, don´t give them too much room and play some good counter attacks. One or two goals and we´re trough :)

yea I was not upset in the slightest about his yellow card, except that it was a questionable call.
the last few games have been pretty bad. We didn't play well vs Sassuolo and 10-15 min spans of forgetting how to play vs Fiorentina/Roma resulted in a loss and two big points dropped(vs ten men). If we drew with Sassuolo I would have been pissed...the fans at Juve stadium were feeling the same way, even jeered a few times throughout the match.

the 3-5-2 is definitely going to be seen more that Barz is back and Caceres is out...maybe this could help Lichtsteiner attack more? I agree that his attacking game has been lacking when usually he is actually our leading assist man behind Pirlo.

I am nervous for this Dortmund match, but I would be even if we were up 3-0. Gotta love champions league

Pogba out for a month. Ouch.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.
