I used to think he was a chelsea fan but I've seen him bash them as well. He's taken shots at everyone. He supports a small club in germany I think

Going by how he's always ragging on Cristiano and Real Madrid, I assumed he was a Barca fan.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Only thing that's kept this from being a complete fail of a season for Dortmund was Reus re-signing. I'll be happy with a Europa league spot next season, if anything this loss should let Dortmund focus more on the Bundesliga and getting to Europe again.

Amazing amazing performance.

No kidding, I lost count of how many opportunities that guy snuffed out.
Also, this was the first time that I've ever watched a Barcelona game, and from what I took away from the announcers (and the eye test) is that Messi is a highlight waiting to happen. And Neymar needs to gain a little weight, he's so skinny.

Nice observations! Keep an eye on March 20, the next round will be drawn. :D It's a great time for you to start watching all these teams at the same time.

Props to Joe Hart for all those saves. Score would have been 8-0. Man City has a lot of thinking to do.
We played great. Just have to convert more.
Only teams I don't want to face in the quarters yet is
Bayern and Real and maybe Atletico although I do want revenge.
Any team after that we can take with Porto being the easiest followed by Monaco and Juve and PSG.

I'm enjoying it right now. I'm going to try to watch the Barcelona-Madrid game (Classico?), it should be on TV in America, right?

He is kind of a Messi homer, but he never really post on La Liga thread. I think its a team in germany or England.

Yes. If you have beIN Sports it will be on. If not, try some of the ESPN ones, they usually have important clashes.

cgf wrote:lol gotta love how ya never back down foye, though you're wrong on this one, that was a very strong showing. BVB screwed things up for themselves, and there was space that a Bayern or Barca would abuse, but that was still a good showing from Juve.

This Dortmund team is among the absolute worst German CL teams I have seen in a while. Even worse than the Schalke/Leverkusen teams that got their asses handed to them last year. The tie should've been over after 60 minutes and it took Juve 150 minutes to get it done. :dontknow:

I'll give Juve credit when they beat a real team, not the disfunctional piece of trash they played today.

And the BVB from the first leg were better than the Schalke and Leverkusen sides that went to the quarter- and semi-finals in the past. Dortmund bossed their group, which admittedly wasn't the toughest, and showed up strong in the first match. That Juve only conceded on a slip and were able to fight back in the midfield in that game was a really good sign.

This game Dortmund weren't the same, as they never are with Sven or Kehl at the 6, so this drubbing is actually less impressive to me than the 2-1 they got at home, but on the whole this was still a good showing from a club that took care of business. I wouldn't favor them against Bayern, Barca, Real (if they find their form), or PSG, but I'm definitely taking them over Monaco and Porto, on a level with Athleti.

I wouldn't mind seeing Porto-Monaco, out of respect to the fact that they both somehow made the finals that one time...... but obviously I hope Juve get either one of them

Based on his comments in the BuLi thread, I don't think he's a fan of a specific german club as much as he's just a general BuLi supporter. His opinions about a lot of things just run so far contrary to what I've heard from anyone who actually has a club in germany and isn't just blindly rooting for the league. As those are the only other people who I've seen defend the plastics and failing "big name" clubs as fervently as he does, other than RedBull he does **** on them.

Plus he uses the word traditionsverein a lot, and in reference to a lot of clubs that don't qualify for that moniker, so I'm guessing he's just a soccer hipster and general german league hyper.
