Truth hurts. Phil has yet to make any right decision. It starts with giving Melo the Super Max . bad idea. I'd keep him, but not for a super max. Great invidivual player no doubt. Top 10 talent , but his playing style just doesn't win games , especially since he doesn't make anyone around him better.

Its not a coincidence that JR and Iman start playing better being around LeBron
OJ Mayo , Michael Jordan , Allen Iverson.

Anyone else have a feeling we'll barely get anyone during Free agency this offseason? I Feel like every RFA will be matched due to the future capspace...and every player we want that fits will resign with their team...

He didn't give Melo the SuperMax, so I guess your whole premise is off

Trade Melo to the Lakers for their pick if it's in the top 4 and the Knicks also have a top 4 pick?

Knicks with two top 4 picks in this draft would be pretty good right?

Lakers would be back in contention if they sign Rondo, acquire Melo, and Kobe comes back somewhat healthy.

On draft night:

Knicks :Trade our #1 pick (either #1-4), Tim Hardaway Jr, Early, and OKC 2nd rounder

for

Jazz: Gordon Hayward and Derek Favors

U mean Derrick Favors? Add Rudy Gobert and I'd do it

if SA sees Manu and Duncan retire they are expected to go after Marc Gasol

If they don't land him I wonder if they would be willing to trade us Parker

Parker has long been a fan of NYC and has spoken about wanting to play here

I think he continues to be the best PG that no one talks about. In the east he would be perfect as well and his leadership would be exactly whats needed here

pretty interesting. calderon included too.
Tough to trade our draft pick but no 2 players would be such perfect compliments to melo and the triangle like favors and hayward are. And they are young.
I doubt Utah does it they building something nice.

What do you think it would take to get them? Maybe throw in Galloway too?

Or how about same deal just trey Burke instead of favors ?

tony parker is a great player. he would be great in the triangle. i am concerned about his durability at this point. but he could help instill a winning culture from that position.

exactly
with years after this one I can't imagine the spurs wanting to keep him, despite his many many skills and talents
they are smart enough to start over

we can give them cap space and take the leadership in return

ah, time remaining on the deal. ok. 10m is not bad if he is going to hold up. but i would only consider that if we struck out on other targets.
