He's going to win it. So did Doug McDermott. Means nothing he's a senior with extremely limited upside (at best he becomes a less athletic Miami Chris Bosh).

didn't jammer fredette win AP College Player of Year?

It doesn't mean much in terms of the transition from college to the nba.

I'm not so sure "a less athletic Miami Chris Bosh" would be such a bad NBA player!

If you wanted to belittle Kaminsky, I think you should have picked someone much worse than Bosh.

I'm not saying he's bad. He's a good pick at 10-14. There's no way he deserves to be in the same conversation as Jahlil, Towns, Russell, etc. He deserves to be mentioned with Tyus and Delon Wright.

Imo his ceiling is Mehmet Okur (which is not a bad thing at all).

I truthfully cannot fathom Kaminsky being picked outside the top ten. I say he goes ten or better. I'd surmise number six thru ten.

To me I sense that he has some reservations about the pick and hence his preference to rebuild through free agency. Again like I stated before I could be wrong I am by no means an expert here, but since there is no guarantee u can get one of the top 4 free agents, why not tank and get the worst record and guarantee yourself one of the top 4 draft picks? I guess he believes the free agents he will sign are gonna be better that the top 4 draft picks because the knicks could potentially play themselves out of the top four and I don't see the logic in that.

I don't think that's him being afraid. It's him stating the obvious.

It's a lot easier said than done to "tank." GMs might want to lose games to get a better pick, but players and coaches don't intentionally lose. Anyone who has ever played any competitive sport knows this.

Not necessarily true. I recalled Cavs hired John Lucas as coach and proceeded to lose as much as possible during the Lebron sweepstakes. Don't forget the Coach is still an employee and reports to the GM/President . If there is a consensus among the front office/coach to lose some games, the coach has to follow the decision, all in the best interest of the team's future.

That team before LeBon was ****. There's no point in furthering this conversation if you really think that the "coach has to follow the decision [to lose games]." That's absolute ****. Have you ever played a competitive sport? Do you know how much players want to win? Coaches can rest players (See Denver), but that's it. No coach is going to lose on purpose -- even Brett Brown has the 76ers playing hard every game trying to win.

Have a good day because your view is way off base and there's no point in responding to you because of your beliefs.

I have no idea how so many people believe one person, especially one not on the court can stop 5 men who are on the court from winning a game against 5 other men who are not under their control at all.
