If the Knicks get the #2 pick, do they consider taking Russell over whichever big is left?

Depends on tournament play. If Jahlil is dominant you can't pass him, if Towns performs against taller frontcourt opponents instead of the 6-8 SEC guys he's been killing he suddenly becomes unpassable, and if Russell can lead Ohio State to the Elite 8 I think he is hard to pass. Personally I'm already sold on all three I just want the player with the most unique skillset and the strongest single part of their game (I think it's easier to mold a skill to a passable level than an elite level).

Bucks fan who'd trade Parker for a top 3 pick.

Off an injury? Heck nah. I honestly think Parker is a future All-Star but these 3 are all younger and I think Jahlil and Towns are better prospects.

His handles are butter and he throws up nothing but splash buckets. Strange to think we might be seeing the best freshman class since 08 already.

This is how I predict things will go down:

1) The Knicks will draft one of these guys.
2) Knicks fans will look at him as the second coming of Patrick Ewing throughout the offseason.
3) He will not play to most peoples' expectation after 82 games.
4)Fans will turn on him.

or

1) The Knicks will draft one of these guys.
2) They will trade him for a player like Demarcus Cousins.
3) Some Knicks fans will be disappointed but the majority will have the Knicks winning the NBA championship.
4) The player they drafted will turn into a legit superstar on another team while the Knicks get eliminated in the second round.
5) Knicks fans will demand that Phil Jackson be fired.

I really hope I'm wrong. I've just been a Knicks fan long enough to notice how things always end up for them.

It's true. I have this sick feeling that all these people on the forum clamouring for Towns will get what they wish for, and he ends up being a stiff, while Russell and Okafor become immediate impact players/all stars.

you guys are so pessimistic.
either of these guys russell/okafor/towns are good prospects. their contract would be bargain, they're young and promising.
i dont think much people turn against them.

dont forget that we got melo. he's the no:1 for this team. and we'll get 1-2 well payed players from FA. i think we can get 1 important piece at least.
so pressure wont be on these young picks.
also last 3 years draft wasnt good. rookie's didnt impact on any team. bennett?wiggins?parker? they all started slow or gone bad.
wiggins/parker didnt started like lebron/melo. if it was the case then PRESSURE would increase on new draft picks.

K.Towns is closest thing to P.Ewing in this draft class. His effort will become fan favourite.
J.Okafor with triangle has bright future. His defense would be questioned but he'll make necessary impact.
Russell is good too. i dont think they'll end up bad.

This year draft class is good. Good year to TANK.

Cousins has never been to the first round of the playoffs. Saying he gets us to the second round is overly optimistic in my opinion.

Cousins has never had any real secondary talent around him.

Certainly no one like Melo

That's the lamest excuse of all time. Who did Melo have all those years in Denver when he made the playoffs? Dirk has gone countless years with players not as good as Melo, and made the playoffs every single year. Who does Anthony Davis have, and he is contending for a playoff spot.

Sacramento hasn't never won even 30 games. 30 GAMES!!!! 30 GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with Boogie Cousins.

He's a career loser. I have to question anyone's mental capacity that wants to bring that cancer to this team.
