Missed most of the game due to buying a car, lol.
Watched the last 5 minutes. PJ Tucker has shown his leadership since the all-star game. Bledsoe showed emotions the last minute or so, so that was cool. When we were up three and the Pels took a timeout, the crowd was cheering, but a lot of them were still in their seats (under a minute left I believe). Green was telling the crowd to quiet down when Tucker was shooting his free throws. It's strange to me that he isn't bitter about his lack of playing time, he's been a true professional, and for some reason I wouldn't mind if he stuck around after this season.
If we somehow sneak into the playoffs I would be very surprised. What's funny is, even if we made the playoffs would anyone in Phoenix really care? Fans haven't shown up all year, I don't expect that to change because we made the playoffs. If the seats were to be filled, it would most likely be with bandwagon GS fans, and that pisses me off. Some reason if that happens I think it makes us look bad for the upcoming free agency period. Anyway, just a thought.

Keif has enough handles to play SF and can really exploit them in the post.

I've always thought we could do keiff and Marc off the bench at the 3/4. I'm cool starting wright over keiff, but keep Tucker in that 3. I really think the twins need to be 6th men on this team, and I think a power forward needs to be our number 1 target this summer. We can continue to develop our young guys, I like them. We need a 25 year old guy now.

And for all the people who take their fanhood to this board and try to rally the troops from a forum: you're pussies. If someone wants to gripe about the team's roster or the management this is a fine place to do that. Keiff didn't call out the real gm forums.

We just bought a 2015 RAV4 Limited a month ago. Not the dream vehicle by any means, but very nice. The xm radio deal is very cool.

Congrats on the new car.

Thanks. Congrats to you too (just looked up the RAV4 looks like a great family vehicle!).
Friggin took forever though. Got there around 145pm, didn't leave until about 7pm.

Yep, it was an all day event. We drove home and had the kids nap and I went back to finish the deal. I think we started around 10am and I drove the Rav off the lot at closing.

Come on man, your making $70 million you can't be the one to not give a ***.

Man, your hate for Bledsoe is relentless. It's the same thing over and over with your posts about Bledsoe--you always accentuate the negative, without acknowledgement of any of the positives. I mean, really, the guy played 37 minutes and had 3 TOs. How is that supposed to be such a bad thing that it has to be mentioned above say, oh IDK, maybe the fact that....

...he had 11 boards as a PG.

Or how about his 4 steals?

Which of the 3 are really worth a mention in a post? Which of the those three stats are more of a departure from the norm for a player? 4 steals, 11 boards, or 3 TOs.

And all this negativity after a win is just mind-blowing. I mean, fans here have complained all season, even when we had a 3 game lead in the 8th seed, about how terrible our defense is when our offense was a rockin'-and-a-rollin'. Now that our D has improved over the past several games, and when we win as a result of the good defensive play, fans are complaining about our Offense, but not giving credit to the fact that our D has been really good. I mean, which is it? We are missing our top defensive player in Len, and probably our 2nd or 3rd best scorer, and still winning, and fans want to give the credit for the win due to the fact that NO is missing their starters that are 'supposedly' better than ours (AD aside, of course). It's not about who we or they are missing, it's about who is replacing said players, and with a raw Goodwin and Earl Barron being the primary replacements, I find it hard to believe that our replacement players are better than NO's

Enjoy the win for crying out loud, and save the complaining for the losses. Just unbelievable.

Man stop, I have given Bledsoe plenty of credit in the games where I thought he played well. I'm not a homer so im not gonna sugercoat anything.

I've said numerous times that other than his turnovers, he's been real good this season.

But when he effs up, I'm gonna say it as well.

And yea fans complaining so much blah blah blah, maybe once they can at least freakin make playoffs for what first time in 5 or 6 years, there will be no more complaining.

And not sure why you intended that at me anyway, I didn't diminish this win or downplay it.

So why the need to bring up 3 TOs like that's a large number to have? That's below his and 20 other PGs' per36 average, so that's actually not a poor performance IRT TOs.

And as far as the continual complaining about not making the playoffs, last year was just bad luck. With their record they would have made the playoffs in the West in:

2013 - 6 Seed
2012 - (record corrected) - 6 Seed
2011 - 6 Seed

In 2010, they made the playoffs, so not seeing the whole making it for the 1st time in "5 or 6 years"...yes, this would be the 5th straight year not making the playoffs, but that was due to a fluky good year by the entire conference. It's not like we went 5 straight seasons of 34-48 or something...we've had two seasons around .500, one bad season, and then the 48-34 from last year.

It's no secret that 80% of your posts are negative in some form or fashion, so yeah, that's why I quoted you. Bledsoe had limited assists and shooting %, but he was better than normal in taking care of the ball, he rebounded very well, and had a decent amount of steals, so overall, he had a good game--more good than bad, at least. And in order for him to get assists, the other guy actually has to score, right? So on a night like last night when no one was hitting, on either team, he's not likely to get a lot of assists. So, not sure why the negativity focused at Bledsoe.

Bledsoe should have got many more assists last night but teammates were missing wide open shots. He set them up great .. Just weren't hitting.

Bledsoe gets a ton of hate! His defense is something special.
Just saying but replace Bledsoe and Nash in the 04-05 team and we are looking at a championship. Defense goes a very long way in the playoffs.

Bledsoe, JJ, Marion and STAT. Wow. Bledsoe and Amare.... Oh my god.

The lotto and sun examples were light-hearted analogies. Obviously I realize we have a higher chance than the lottery (perhaps 1 in 10 million) and the sun not rising (perhaps 1 in one octillion). The point is, a mathematical chance is not the same as a reasonable chance, i.e. a chance worth thinking about.

OKC just beat Atlanta by 8 without Durant and Ibaka. We're done. Netflix 24 time.

In his defense the guy he kept kicking the ball out to went 1-11. And he wasn't taking bad shots, just couldn't hit anything. He had a good game on the defensive end though. Which is good.

On a night like this when nobody can hit anything, I don't understand why Reggie Bullock isn't given an opportunity. Isn't he supposed to be a good shooter?

Bullock is a weird situation to me. He was projected to be a legit catch and shoot player with average defense. Then he couldn't find rotation minutes on a team that needed exactly that. He has to be lacking something, although I honestly don't know what it is. It'd be nice to see him crack the rotation in the coming years. I'm okay with Jeff sticking with the 'veteran' in Marcus. Even though he couldn't hit a bucket to save his life.

The only reason our offense was amazing is because of the way Nash orchestrated it.

Meh, probably not, but IMO, he seems to be a decent 3rd option at the 2 or 3. He's cheap, has some upside, and just turned 24, so hopefully we give him the off-season and at least half the season next year to prove himself. If not, he can be included in a pkg at the trade deadline. I kind of view him as a similar project as Goodwin, but understanding he's 3 1/2 years older, though he was part of the same draft class. He was actually projected to go higher than Goodwin on most Mocks I saw--saw him anywhere from 17 to 32. And who knows, maybe Horny is purposely not playing Bullock to give us thee best chance at a playoff run. Meaning, he's the least experienced non-rookie we have on our roster (has 120 minutes less total minutes than Goodwin).

To me, Bullock is very intriguing and I wouldn't be surprised to see him garner more minutes once the Suns have officially been eliminated from Playoff contention, or at least once it becomes obvious that they aren't going to make up whatever deficit we are staring at to make it. Would love to see our 'future' play some minutes together like:

Goodwin
Bullock
Warren
Wright
Len

So, we probably did NOT catch lightning in a bottle, but for the price of Randolph, it's a no-brainer--it was like getting him for free, so if he doesn't pan out, worst case scenario is that he's cut, but more likely, since he's still young and just 2 years removed from the draft, he'll likely be part of a trade package at some point.

Return to Phoenix Suns
