Roberson leads all SGs in DRPM(ESPN).

9th in the entire league.

He needs a jumpshot though. Badly. I'm just happy he NEVER takes dumb shots, he knows his limitations.

Triple doubles aren't even getting bumps? Where ya'll at?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I think this is the first time this season he played the whole second half, right?

44 minutes. No problem. Still dominant at the end. ;)

A lot of turnovers again though. I wonder if the mask is bothering him some and if that has increased the number of turnovers. He's had 60 TOs in 9 games with the mask. Or maybe it's just fatigue.

Or the incredible usage rate.

Plus he got a cheap extra one today dribbling around avoiding traps and taking time off the clock.

You know someone is playing ridiculous when he was 8/24 and people on RGM don't even care :D

This is why I wish we had this thread, and indeed, RealGM even existed, during peak Kobe in '06 and '07. I think if people went back and marveled at the game to game praise people would have less revisionist history.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Awesome win. Zero championship hopes, but heck, a run for an 8 seed is still a goal. Russ, we love you.

What? He doesn't have a 40% TS?

Ok my bad. Very weird. Somehow I calculated his TS% for THIS GAME to be 40. It was really 57. Must've typed a wrong number somewhere. Disregard that post.

The Thunder have been such a different team at home/ on the road this season. Since Westbrook returned they are 22-3 at home and 13-14 on the road.

Another APBR trivia bit from Mike G.:
Mike G wrote:Players who have had Pts/G > 26, Ast% > 34, TReb% > 8, and Stl% > 2.5 : Jordan '89, Westbrook '15, Harden '15
http://bkref.com/tiny/eeC6Y

Lose the Stl% qualifier -- or relax it to 2.0 -- and LeBron is there 5 times. Apparently it's impossible to do the other 3 without at least 2.0 Stl%

Oh, and Serge is a just crazy:

OKC has a 114 offensive rating since getting Kanter and others in a trade. That would rank as the best offense in the league. Westbrook has a 57% TS since then. I've always said that efficiency of superstars is overrated. That you measure high usage players by team production. How much they distort the defense in there efforts to slow down a player is a lot more important than individual percentages. 114 offensive rating with mediocre talent still shows the defense is leaving a lot of wide open guys giving attention to Westbrook.

IMO there no debate if Westbrook could lead an elite team. The only reason they aren't destroying the league is they have been terrible defensively. Matter of fact with a rating of 114 it debatable how much Durant would help. They have a defensive rating of 109 during that time. Honestly there defense has not been as good with Adams in the starting lineup as it was with Perkins. The communication has not been the same and they make a ton of mistakes. Would Durant help them defensively. I'm sure he would help some but how much.

What Westbrook does have to improve on is his late game decision making. He not a great shooter and he not a great shot creator for himself. He doesn't have a great repertoire of offensive moves to get shots off. Durant would no question help in close games. Westbrook should focus on drives or passing in late game situations. If they give you open 18 footers take those.

Russ with another 17 assist triple-double. A terrible 5/16 from the floor and 6 more turnovers, but once again he belies the usual things that make people think a player had a bad game, because his fingerprints were all over this one and the Thunder destroyed a hot Miami team.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

This is just unreal. Guy's aren't supposed to be able to do this in today's league.

Real GM was around during that time. I am not sure if what this revisionist history is that you speak of.
