No Peters wasn't arrested. Cooper doesn't cause trouble on the field or in practice either. He's a jerk off in my book but he doesn't do things to undermine Kelly. I'm telling you if Dez was a FA Chip wouldn't go after him and if he was an Eagle and blew up on the coaches like Dez does Chip would trade him.
How does Garrett talk about not wanting jerk when Dallas is loaded with them currently?
Manster, I wasn't a Oregon follower. Who were the guys Chip recruited with questionable character?

Jarntt you really need to go read up on Chip. I mean it doesn't even seem like the Cowboys are all in with Dez either.

I'm not even saying Chip is right. I'm just saying this is what he wants.
Manster, I haven't found anything about Chip recruiting jerks. Was this you just trying to be passive aggressive?

Seems to me there is no proof of him having a zero tolerance rule in place with questionable characters.
He removed two talented vet players that could divide the locker room with such a new coaches message. (get on board or else) You see this a lot in sports.
None of this actually suggests Chip wont draft/sign a player with a questionable past. Think you might be jumping to conclusions there Malko

exactly. Kelly has removed a couple of players who challenged him, it has nothing to do with character. Malko, Google makes it real easy to look up the questionable characters he brought and kept in Oregon. Read and learn. If you decide you don't have to at least stop talking out of your butt.

1. Schmoop, you also need to go look all over the Philly boards, Philly papers, Philly blogs, draft guides etc. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ARE SAYING WHAT IM SAYING. I didnt make this up, I've read it numerous times and Im just reporting what I've read many many times. We had 3 loud mouths on our team and they are ALL gone. Why are you guys coming at me like Im making this up. Go read.
2. Manster, I did do a google search cause I admittedly didnt follow Chip at Oregon. I havent found anything as of yet. Can you help me out cause Im not seeing anything about Chip recruiting or targeting dirt bags.

Maybe you guys just dont follow Chip Kelly news and thats understandable but thats all us Eagles fans hear about. "Chip Kelly and his culture". I could link 100 articles illustrating what Im telling you guys. Chip will not go after questionable characters or loud mouths. Its been said a million times. Im not making this up and I dont understand why some of you have such a hard time of believing me?? Desean GONE, McCoy GONE, Cary Williams GONE. 3 guys on this team with big "me first" personalities all gone.
Just google "Chip Kelly Culture" and you'll see 101 articles about Chip not wanting egomaniacs.
Or Google "Dorial Green Beckham Eagles" I've now seen 2 articles saying Chip has all ready stated he wont draft this stud.

this is my point malko. 3 loud mouths challenged his leadership & now are all gone. That doesn't mean he wont bring in someone with a checkered past. Just means they better go along with his program, & not challenge him.
Saying he will never draft/sign a player like Dez (or any other example) because hey look he got rid of some players that challenged his authority. That is two entirely different things. & of course media driven things will take this & run with it. Their jobs is to stretch reality. So unless Chip himself has said he will never sign or draft said players, I am not connecting those dots. And if he did say that. That is great. Because now I can either call him a liar when he does it, or laugh because your team fails to succeed. Top NFL teams are not built on high moral values. No matter how much we fans try to spin such a story.
For instances if Andrew Luck had some questionable things in his life & Chip passed him up in the draft for that reason alone, would be a perfect example of failing as a coach or front office guy. I don't think Chip is that dense or stupid. All he cares about is that the players knows who's boss. Not if they are choir boys.

You take a week or so off and come back with this after shutting it down with your tail between your legs. Wow. Again, if any of us were that much invested In Chip and the Egals, we would go to an Egal forum. Chip has made his bed, I personally love it. I hope you get the culture you want.

Re: Toughest post Ive ever had to admit to
What are you talking about BJJ. You're making zero sense. Tail between my legs??? WTF are you talking about.
Schmoop, I never said Chip is right or I agree I'm just relaying what gets jammed down our throats in Philly about Chip and it's culture, culture, culture and now people are challenging me over absolutely nothing. I never even said I agreed. Like I said there is an article today saying Chip thinks good guys and culture are more important in winning then skill and what system you run.
Makes no sense people going after me for what any Eagle fan can tell you about Chip.

I'm waiting for Manster to give me a link to Chip recruiting jerks at Oregon. I don't know but I haven't found anything.

I guess I don't understand what you are saying. IMO no coach that is interested in improving the culture of his team or getting rid of questionable characters or loud mouths would have Cooper on his team when there is minimal impact to cutting him other than the fact that you don't have any WRs. I'm pretty confident Garrett would have cut him before that season and I know he wouldn't have given him that contract. That is the exact kind of thing that can tear apart a team from the inside out. Most guys say they stay out of other guys business when it is "off the field" right or wrong, but what Cooper said he was saying to most of his teammates too.

From what you are saying It sounds like Kelly is more interested in weeding out anyone that questions his authority. If so, based on what he has done I can't disagree with that but that does tend to work better in College than the NFL sometimes

Wasn't that hard. I find interesting that Kelly didn't immediately cut these guys from the team. Or maybe they apologized and didn't talk back. Get off your high horse about how Kelly only want choir boys. Oh I forgot Cooper is still on the team. I guess going around publicly spouting the "N" word is ok as long as he doesn't question the coach.
Kelly's motto. Kiss my ass and I dont care what you do with the rest of your time in the day.

Manster WTF is your problem. My high horse? I said that I don't know if I even agree with Chip. I'm just reporting what I heard. You're just looking for a fight when I never said I even agreed.
Jarntt I hear you about Cooper but he hasn't challenged Chip's system or been a loud mouth on the field. If Chip cut him Cooper would have 5 plus million in dead money. Thats just not feasible.
I'll go read your links now Manster.

I don't get the links Manster. The article said with 105 players issues are inevitable. He dealt with them and cut his QB. Good try but massive fail.

Are you really this dense? You have spouted off on how Kelly won't take Dez because of his character and the article goes to show he will as long as the malcontent doesn't question or disobey him.
Here's the truth. Every team has questionable characters on it. It's the nature of the business.
If a coach really tried to fill a roster without those questionable players he'd won 2 or 3 games a season and be fired. Chip gets rid of anyone who challenges him, it has nothing to do with their behavior.

How am I dense. McCoy didn't challenge Chip. He's just a big mouth. You tried to say Chip specifically went after trouble makers in college and when I said I never heard that you post links to where he disciplined and cut trouble makers on his college teams too. You actually supported what I was trying to say so I guess you're the dense one. Not every team has trouble makers.
Why do you keep calling me out when I'm just stating what Chip believes in. It's not my feelings or opinions, it's Chips. There is a thread right now on the Eagles board where someone posted the Eagles should go after Dez and give up the two 1sts only to be followed by 50 posters saying Chip won't go after those types. It's blatantly obvious that he's doing that but a few of you are acting like I just made this up.
Every time you argue with me Manster you fail miserably. Remember, "Chip runs scores up by keeping his QB in late" and when Dallas did the same thing the same week you come back with "Well I didn't watch the Cowboys game". Brilliant dude. You're attacking ME for what Chip did. Asinine bro. Drop the anger dude.

NEVER did I say Kelly went after troubled kids, I said he didn't stay away from them. I give up. Time after time you are exposed to the truth yet time after time you ignore it. It's nothing new because for years you've been this way.
I give up on you. You're efn hopeless.
