Well.. I don't know about you guys but I'm so sad right now even I knew that he would retire this season.

One of the best shooters, one of the best passers (maybe best?) one of the smartest basketball player on earth. I will miss you so much !

Thank you Steve. 2004-05 and 2010 seasons were truly special and you were heart and brain of those great Suns teams. Too bad you could not retire a Sun. One of my favorite players ever.

My favourite basketball player, an authentic joy to watch.
I would love to have him on the Suns, like GM, assistant, HC or whatever.

I could see him doing some tv work. I just watched him narrate the 1984 draft the other day. Maybe he could have his own show.

But I would love to have him as an assistant coach.

Agreed. I don't think I'll ever get over some of those seasons for as long as I live and probably won't ever want someone to win as much as I did him. Truly one of a kind. A sad day indeed.

My favourite player in the history of every sport ever. The biggest reason I am a Suns fan. But he had an amazing career and I hope he stays involved with basketball, either commentating or in a role here on the Suns. He's really into film making if I recall correctly, so that's cool too if that's what he wants to do. Best of luck with whatever he decides to do.

Not gonna lie, I got emotional when I first read the news while eating lunch at P.F Changs. My girlfriend couldn't figure out what was wrong with me and didn't understand what Steve Nash meant to us fans.
Many memories with Nash. I wish he was treated more like a star and not like an underdog during his years with the Suns, but I think that added to the appeal of watching him play. Man... there won't ever be another Steve Nash.

Side note: Wish NBA.com would put a picture of Nash wearing a Suns jersey instead of the Lakers.

My favorite players of all time. Most likable super star during his peak. Class act both on and off the court.

Watching youtube of Steve Nash now a days is a double edged sword.

Great to watch, but makes watching now harder.

Cool to see how much respect NBA has for Nash. What a career.

The reason I like basketball. Best point guard behind Stockton. The best Suns player ever.
