They'd be fine...

Wiggins/Iggy
Hayward/Korver
KD/Kawhi
Melo/Parsons?
Bron/Giannis

82-0

Don't underrate Batum on this team he is probably one of the most versatile and talented SF's in the league. He does a great PG imitation and can play solid defense. He is not a darling to the PER system though since he doesn't take a lot of shots.

That much talent on one team? Uh... they'd be alright. They just wouldn't be great. But that's a ton of talent on one team. All-star PG team any day of the weak against half these teams.

That team would be a nightmare to guard on offense of course defensively they would never grab a rebound and would get posted up to death. They would have to constantly double and would give up open shots as they are shorter even if they are quicker.

Offensively, if teams can get back in transition they would be toast. No post offense, and they wouldn't be able to alley oop or create plays for easy dunks due to their lack of size.

Due to their supreme talent level, I'd say the team has a chance to win 40 because of skill alone.

They'll definitely beat the all-center and all-power forward teams.

thats what i meant. pass the ball until the ball reaches the hands of the pg being marked by the center...

help defence? they are point guards. when the help comes, there's an open man. point guards have the skill to hit the open man easily.

when did i say the smalls can stop the bigs. i said they can bother them enough to make them miss maybe 10-20% of their shots.

you a big? have u ever tried to guard a small before? I haven't seen a big that i cant drive past easily and get a layup every single time. you and your bumbling footwork
and on the neighbourhood courts, i'm not even a true small. i'm over 6 feet which isn't that small on neighbourhood courts. and bigs can't even keep up because of their horrible feet. a true small or elite smalls like those in the list will blow past a 7 footer every single time, whether the 7footer gives up space or not.
theres a reason that big man (and you for that matter) is playing on the neighbourhood courts and not in the NBA.. Good luck trying to blow by Jordan or Norl or Davis or any other center for that matter.. These bigs are slow compared to the freak athletes playing PG in the NBA but they would kick your ass that's for sure.

Ill take my Center posting up my PG 5 ft from the basket rather than try to have my PG isolate a Center every play.

hey, maybe deandre can guard me. who cares? thats not the question is it? the question is whether deandre can guard westbrook, is it?
okay can Westbrook guard DeAndre?

5 wins maybe. An All PG team would be so terrible defensively it would be hard to watch.

It used to be a definitive no but players are better and better at shooting wide open shots. Now it'd be a case of whether they can hit open 3's at a high enough clip to make up for the layups and putbacks the other team is getting. They should either have guys wide open for 3 every time or an empty lane where the guy with a center on him can get an easy layup. The Grinnell system would probably be best, don't worry about defending the halfcourt just defend the other half of the floor. If the other team survives the press let them have 2.

Now that team would be dangerous, but a team of traditionally sized point guards would get destroyed defensively.

As far as the all-SF team is concerned, I believe it was Don Nelson who predicted that this is where the league is eventually heading - teams full of nothing but athletic do-it-all small forwards. The all-SF team would wreck shop in the league, to be honest.

On the flipside, this thread is a perfect example of how overrated point guards are both on here and among fans in general. People are literally acting like an all-PG team wouldn't struggle to win 10 games

No shot blocking, no rebounding. Opposition will just pack the paint on defense and make you beat them from outside. It's a recipe for disaster

It's good but I would really be interested in seeing them against the Memphis Grizzlies. I feel like Grizzlies would win at least by 15 points. Not only would they give up a lot of rebounding and easy baskets, they would be fouling a lot in a slow, half-court game.

That thread came up a few months ago. Most people thought the all-center team would be way too much for the PG's to handle, although the PG's I think are better as a group than the centers today. I still think the centers would win.

All of them are ball dominant and last time I checked only one ball. They would be destroyed in the post and I am thinking would give a record setting fg%

Remember, if the top 15 pg's are on one team, they are not on their teams, thus making the rest of the league much weaker. Lots of running and trapping.

I will never forget at U of I there were 60 5'9" and under teams in IM's and we won (we killed the other teams). We then met the Open Division winners in the all league tournament (at Assembly Hall-it was cool). We were winning by 2 at halftime-running and shooting. The Open winners were all football players, and they were huge. We ended up losing by 30. They got serious and went inside all thru the second half and pounded us. Now, we weren't NBA PG's, but they weren't NBA forwards.

How many games could they win in an NBA season?

This team won't be great, but it won't be as bad as some people think, as much of what it loses on defense it gains on offense. A team of all time greats (e.g. Stockton-Kidd-BigO-Isiah-Magic) would do very well, making the playoffs in both conferences and possibly even contending. From the similar thread Which position would win in a tournament of all time greats?

"I go with Team PG. They can use full court pressure throughout the game and frequently gamble on steals. Most of the other teams will be too slow to take advantage of that. On offense, the PGs can get more possessions by avoiding turnovers with their superior ball handling and passing. Rebounding will be an issue though, but with patient ball movement they should be able to get great shots time after time. Also, Magic counts as a PG but he can play winning basketball as a Center "
