Somebody created a fake Rick Bonnell Twitter account today. It's pretty funny, although they could take it much much further.

For anyone who is a fan of pro wrestling, Max Landis' "Wrestling isn't Wrestling" is a must watch

$13 million seems a little bit much for a player that didn't play but one game last year and that has a possible suspension looming over his head. Surely they could've gotten him way cheaper than that, Jerry being Jerry I guess though

Most of it is game-by-game, that number drops by a little under $600k for every game he misses due to suspension or otherwise.

Also, since the actual amount he'll make is virtually unknown the cap hit will be very low for the Cowboys, I believe under $3m. But if he hits his incentives they'll have a dead money hit next year for the remaining $13.1m, and he very well could be on another team by then.

I'm just glad he's not on an NFC south team.

since we have had stories on knee surgery rehabilitation, wondered whether anyone had ever had his ankle turn blue?

sprained it in a game on Sunday, did the usual thing of icing it, elevating it, etc. woke up yesterday and it was blue.

Had that happen once Lamar, rolled it really badly and it got incredibly swollen and turned purplish - blue. Took like a week before I could walk on it at all (I am a pretty big baby when it comes to pain though).

I don't do ankle guards, but I also now only buy shoes that have reasonably good ankle support. I rolled my ankle while wearing these Adidas shoes, they were high tops but had literally no ankle support on me:

hmm.. gotcha.

Thing is I told a doctor about it in an unofficial manner since I work in a hospital. just had a quick convo, not an official visit ,and he said that judging by the development of the color it either is a very bad sprain (and blood is all over the place thus the blue color) or there might be a small fracture. have to do an MRI to make sure.

but, yeah, I'm stubborn when it comes to things like this. will limp through a game tomorrow and then might do an MRI if it hurts badly afterward.

just wanted to know if there's anyone who'd tell me that this actually might be serious. in my experience, doctors usually exaggerate and tell the worst so I'm not sure whether I should believe that it could actually be a fracture.

Yeah I had a bad sprain my freshman year and my entire foot was blue for a good 2-3 weeks. No fracture or anything, just a really nasty sprain. That sucked.

I removed all the name brand letters off the body. I have a bug guard on the way for the hood and a new stereo with 4 speakers. The stereo has USB, Pandora, hookup for iPhone, satellite radio. I'm going to top it all off with a camper top on the back.

I'm scared of the same. I know that it is silly and has little practical value, but I'm terrified of losing my decent athleticism (for a white European at least). I already once lost my ability to jump high off one foot. Don't know why is it so but I've never been able to quite get as high off my left foot ever since I went through one nasty ankle sprain. Now I'm strictly a power jumper of two feet if I wish to get up for a dunk or a high rebound.
