Don't really know much about the talent in central WI, kinda got on the SPASH program last year when the buzz was starting on the Hauser and Anderson kid.

I' m sure the Badgers will keep tabs of the seven foot soph, Owen Hamilton, from Prescott (?) The kid moves pretty well but is pretty raw.
Too bad that Pritzl kid didn't make it to the tourney. I would have liked to see him shoot after reading all the noise about him.

Wanted to keep the Stone stuff in this thread. As RS' tweet said, he's apparently leaning Wisconsin. If true, and Dekker for some reason comes back (don't think he does), man that would be a nightmarish frontline again.

Think we see Koenig/Happ/Hayes/Stone as four of the starters next year if they do land Stone, with SG to be determined.

If Hayes keeps working on his 3 ball Happ+Stone will destroy teams inside. Koenig/ZShow/Hayes/Happ/Stone
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

RS = ReasonablySober. Tweet was actually from Mark Miller.

I am starting to worry that Hayes goes pro next year. A few weeks ago I thought he was just doing it to get some feedback from the NBA people but he may be playing himself into a late 1st right now in the tournament.

Losing Kaminsky, Dekker and Hayes would hurt bad.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm a little worried about this too but I'm choosing to pretend like there's no chance he will leave.

I'd be utterly shocked if Hayes went pro.

A few weeks ago I'd have agreed when the article of "he's talking to the NBA draft advisors" article came out. Seemed as though he was just trying to see where he stood for future years where he'd eventually maybe work his way into late round 1/early 2.

Ford just mocked him I think at #26 so if the NBA scouts agree there's a chance he thinks his stock will go no higher.

That said, I still don't think he goes. But the thought is now there.

Can Nigel legitimately play SF in the NBA? Because I highly doubt he'd be a very effective PF at 6'7. Just seems to be way too much of a tweener to enter the draft prior to using up his eligibility. I haven't been following the draft experts' opinion of him though. For example I didn't even know there was an article about him looking at the NBA. All very interesting.

Here is the link I was speaking of (well, maybe a link to an article about the link)

A good comparison made might be Corliss Williamson (made on the telecast of the R of 64 game). I always thought he was a tweener by pro standards but he may still be able to carve out a very solid bench scoring and energy role.

I don't think he goes this year either, but if he did get first round input, I couldn't blame him either. I don't think he's a guy who will improve his stock a ton playing another year or two, although 2016's draft is projected as poor as of now.

Still think he comes back, but Dekker goes. Happ/Hayes/Stone frontcourt next year. Destroy people on the glass.

Melo Trimble just decided to come back for his sophomore year. Not sure if that impact's Stone's decision or not.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Damn, I was hoping he would leave so this wouldn't be an issue. C'mon Diamond, stay home.

Showalter is not starting material, his role is exactly what it is now.....will be interesting to see if Happ and Hill can actually play well in a game, big difference between being a practice player and being someone who can play all facets with bright lights on you.

I'm not a huge advocate of Showalter, but if he can show the ability to hit an open 3, he'll be Gasser with less ball handling but more athletic defense. He checked Young well for a short time on Sunday. I could see him starting - especially if Hill is considered the backup PG.
