yup, guess I was way wrong. Going on his 5th year in the league and still struggles to catch a bounce pass off a pick and roll half the time.

For some reason this post made me realize something kind of unfortunate. Biz struggles with bounce passes and teams blitzing Kemba on pnr's makes it hard for him to make vertical/lob passes due to his lack of size. Maybe that is why he seems to never pass to Biz? He usually can't make the passes Biz can catch due to his size and how teams try to smother him on pnr's and Biz can't catch the passes he can make out of theoe situations. I wonder if there is anything to that.

Most bounce passes are at Biz's feet b/c a pass to Biz is usually a hasty afterthought during a drive.

You could hand feed a pass to Biyombo like a quarterback giving the ball to a running back and he will screw it up half the time.

That being said I want him over Jefferson right now.

Biz isn't great at catching passes but how much better at it can he get with like 3 passes a game? He gets ~ 3 post entry passes a game; one he usually bobbles because it's poorly thrown, one he usually bobbles because he has bad hands, and one he'll actually catch. It's just a tough sample size to put the lion's share of the blame on Biz, all players are gonna bobble a pass close to once a game but they get a much higher volume of passes because their role in the offense is more than setting screens.

I'm glad our coach is still looking for excuses to cut Biz out of the rotation. Benching him for Maxiell down the stretch against one of the biggest front courts in the league was pretty excellent. I wish our stupid GM, who drafted Biz btw, would just trade the loser so Clifford can just have the Biz-free rotation that he wants without having to look for subtle situation to bench that entitled age liar. I mean, Biz could be a pretty good player if he just brought as much #energy as Big Al and Jason Maxiell, but he can't just keep riding off the hype of being the #7 overall draft pick to keep his rotation spot. I'm glad Clifford was brave enough to put him in his place at the beginning of the season for organizing a basketball camp for impoverished kids in war torn Africa when he should have been getting into shape like our star player, Al Jefferson. Biz really showed his true stripes with that little stunt, but I guess since he is Cho and MJ's prized #7 overall pick he just gets his rotation spot handed back to him over poor Maxiell. Max really solidly earned that spot after we signed him during training camp. I mean, Biz didn't even have a training camp his first season with the team.

At this point, I think we should probably look to package him in a trade with Lance and Vonleh to try to free up as many minutes as possible for Al, Marvin, Hendo, and Maxiell. We might have to add in a 1st round pick too to get someone to take on those stone golum hands and all the baggage Biz brings due to the age scandal.

Wouldn't be surprised if Biz don't return. It might be a mutual split if Biz' agent is smart. Because I know if I was Biz' agent I'd try to get him traded or signed to a team that has a lot of scorers but lack consistent rim protection like the Warriors since Bogut can't stay healthy. Biz would thrive in GSW.

Yeah, if I was his agent, there is no way I would let Biz re-sign here if Clifford is still the coach when it comes time for his next contract. I think he could find a good role on a lot of teams, but a team like you described would really value Biz. Maybe Biz will just really want to stay and Cho will be open to paying him decent. I'm not confident he will be here beyond his rookie contract, but I think there is a decent chance. I'm really starting to think Clifford is getting fired and I think Cho will want Biz on the roster.

The problem is not Biz. The problem is that Maxiell probably has nudes of Clifford lying around somewhere and he's threatening to upload them if he doesn't get playing time. Also has nudes of Cho, who can't waive him for the same reasons.

If Jefferson isn't in the long term plan, I don't see how we can afford to lose Biz.

Fire Clifford, lose Jefferson, Keep Biz.

A less than 100% Jefferson is Clifford's biggest weakness. Clifford was just fine when Biz was starting.

On 26th of March 2015, Biyombo set a career high with 18 points and 1 three pointer

Saw this on Wikipedia this morning and thought it was funny. Although I will admit, I did check his game log just in case I happened to miss Biyombo going off and draining threes even though I was about 98% sure it was made up.

You may think that is how it will pan out but it is definitely now how is should pan out. Barring a crazy high contract we should match and keep the best center we have on our roster.

Biz waxing philosophical on instagram:

Do not spend any time at all thinking about how unhappy your are or how this and that or the other things that make you unhappy, you become what you think of most of the time! The less judgmental your are, the happier you become. The more forgiving you are the happier you become. Make your choice. #Body #Mind #Spirit #peace #calm #joy #happiness #God #lawoftheuniverse

I thought he was one of the few bright spots last night. In his limited minutes he put up decent numbers and was helpful.

Thank you Messy Marv for helping us tank harder by taking Biz out for a while, possibly the season.

Hoping Biz is okay, really want to see him and Vonleh get some time together on the floor. Biz is our best center and isn't even close. It is also no coincidence that Kemba has his best game since coming back in a game that Al misses and Biz starts. He set some good screens last night, and played the way we need a center to play. If we don't resign him as part of the future, it will set us back. We have a solid front line for the future, need to work on the backcourt.

Biz just keeps proving some of us right whenever he gets a chance to. Hope our next coach treats him more equitably.
Humble yourself.

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-nba-groupon-games-which-players-are-the-next-free-agent-steals/

Zach Lowe started with Biz in his column about potential free agent steals this summer. The most interesting part was at the end where he claimed executives believe Biz can be had for $4 million per year, and that no one thinks he'll get a long-term contract with a yearly salary approaching the $5.2m RFA tender.

That is truly insane if true. Plenty of borderline worthless big men get deals that double those numbers, and that's before anyone knew about this upcoming leap in the cap. Add to that Biz being young and showing improvement each year he's been in the league, if we can get him back for 4yr/$20 or 4yr/24 I'd be absolutely ecstatic. At the same time, if we spent all these years finally developing him into a worthwhile rotation player (with an impact that is arguably more positive than Big Al, if you value +/-) and then let some other team nab him for a couple years $8 million overall I'll be irate.

If Lowe is right and Biyombo's suitors think he's just a $4 million player we need to pony up and actually reap the benefits of our guys being mostly ignored and underrated for once.
