Uhh.... No he wasn't

From December 22 to January 24 (Smith released, until Jennings' injury), the Pistons went 12-4. In fact now that I actually add it up that is EXACTLY the same win percentage as Reggie's last 4 games.

Thank you, and PLEASE CONTINUE TROLL, we all love it.

So you're blaming Smith for the other 100 games LMAO

You can't change the variables (new coach, new wing players, subtract the highest usage player) and claim the results aren't affected. So yes, taking Smith out of the equation CLEARLY changed everything for this team.

The variable changed between Dec 26th and now? The starting PG, while all else has remained the same.

I can keep burying you, or we can just leave this convo alone. Up to you.

More to it than that but it's very clear Monroe hinders others

You haven't given one ounce of evidence to support that outside of opinion.

The bottom line is winning and losing. And this team was at its best WITH Monroe on the floor.

And a 16 game stretch is longer than 5.

We've played a handful of crap teams the last 5 games. And Reggie had 5 more games with a new team under his belt. There is no way to come to the conclusion that the sole reason is Monroe.

Did Moose not give you a high five or something? You have a personal vendetta against one player regardless of the impact it has on the team.

I'd at least be open if you had even a sliver of a legitimate argument, but your hate for Monroe is blinding you from the facts.

Chicago: 43-29
Boston: 31-39 (playoff team lol)

If we're playing as well as we were before Jennings got hurt, well, we're doing it without Jennings AND Monroe... What does that tell us? Drummond is why SVG came here, why we were able to dominate for both stretches, and Stan sees Jackson as the best fit at PG. Looks like they're becoming best friends... Mission accomplished.

Imagine if we upgrade Tolliver and Butler? Spend the money on a starting PF, SF, or both. Maybe Monroe is the answer, maybe he is not. If Monroe doesn't play the rest of the year or comes back and ruins this chemistry, he is not the answer.

Aren't Memphis, Toronto and Chicago 3 of the better defensive teams in the league? Boston has been playing pretty well lately too.

I'm pretty sure Toronto isn't, but the rest, yeah.

I don't think anyone would argue that.

honestly i know we'd ideall like a

Franchise pg
Franchise SG
Franchise SF
Franchise PF
Franchise Center

but at some point we'll need minimum guys to fill holes. The law is tough as nails, hustles like a old man, and can hit 3's(up for debate). We do need a upgrade, i don't think it would have as much of a impact as you'd think

Return to Detroit Pistons
